The I’Anson family and all of us at I’Anson Brothers Ltd. would like to express our sadness at the news of the passing of Tony Morris.

Uncle Tony worked with us for 56 years, having joined as a 22 year old after completing his National Service. During his six decades with the business, he worked with four generations of the I’Anson family and many generations of his farming customers. He also served as a Director of the Company for 30 years.

Tony continued to visit his long-standing customers, until the Covid pandemic forced him to retire. We estimated that he travelled over 1 million miles visiting local farms. A true gentleman, he was well known and well regarded throughout the local farming community.

The funeral is to be held at St Mary’s Church, Thornton Watless on the 18th September at 11am.

Our thoughts go out to the family at this time.

What a fantastic day at the Brennand Farm British Blue Open Day.

A great turnout to see quality stock, and to raise money for some deserving causes.

together as an industry and recognise those lost to, and impacted by incidents on farms. It is also a chance to refocus your minds on the health, safety and welfare arrangements on your farm and 'rethink the risks' that you might be exposed to on a daily basis.

JOB OPPORTUNITY: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

We are now recruiting for a maintenance technician to be part of our electrical and mechanical maintenance team. This role will primarily involve assisting in electrical and mechanical maintenance from our new production facility at Dalton, Thirsk, and our headquarters in Masham, North Yorkshire. The role includes providing cover with our maintenance team for a 24-hour operation and some weekend cover on a call out pattern.

The successful candidate will ideally be 17th/18th edition electrically trained and have previous experience in mechanical and electrical machine maintenance.

We have an excellent remuneration package including entry into our pension scheme. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

🐮Great British Beef Week - feed spotlight.🌾
Today we are looking at our cooked barley, which is micronised at our mill in Masham increasing the digestible energy available meaning increased feed efficiency and weight gain.
Cooked barley can be layered with compounds or ration to create high barley diets specific to your cattle’s needs.

Waterloo House December Update

WATERLOO HOUSE UPDATE: We are now thirteen months on from the very first steel column being put into place, and we now have a mill that is approaching the final stages of the construction phase. We will be up and producing shortly and look forward to supplying customers old and new. In naming the new mill “Waterloo House” we are tipping our hats in thanks and respect to the previous generations of the I’Anson family, as it was from Waterloo House in the market place in Masham that the business was initially run from. It was where the family lived and was the office for the first sixty years of business. Here is a video of our progress so far...
