Little Joey is really being a superstar, yesterday we practiced with the hose on his legs and rubbing them which he took really well. Then today he had all 4 legs brushed before picking them all up with only a few tail swishes, on his first day with me last Tuesday he was cow kicking when you touched his shoulder so to be able to do this in a week is brilliant ❤️

Then when we got home from showing our own it was handsome Joey’s turn to have a go at loading training. He really wasn’t sure of the ramp and felt it was lava but he was so quiet with making sure he cleared it getting in and out of the box so it’s a win as he was happy doing it his own special way, with some practice we will get there so hopefully his owner can get him out showing soon ❤️

Got asked if I could trim a couple of babies up for their shows tomorrow, love it when I get to have pamper sessions with babies and let them see it’s all ok. First up is the handsome M&M who is 2yrs old and as you can see he really didn’t want to get out of bed for his pamper session so led down with no head collar it is to tidy his jaw with clippers ❤️ then the beautiful Pixie who is only 1yr old and she got her first ever pamper session so mane pull and then having her jaw done with clippers as well, she really enjoyed it and stood like an angel ❤️ finally there is the handsome Tux who is also 1yr old and he had his jaw, whiskers and feathers clipped and his tail pulled who was also a superstar ❤️

So got this handsome yeaing gelding Joey in for a couple of weeks training. His mum is really struggling with picking his feet up as he kicks out as well as just touch his feathers, he is also going to do some loading training. So far he is being a superstar and now let’s me pick up both front legs with no problem as well as play with his feathers with no problem, back legs are getting there slowing and he is letting me run my hand down his legs without telling me to go away ❤️

Handsome Hector today had a full clip to get rid of all the cat hairs that had grown back so he is ready for show season to start in a couple of weeks. He was a superstar as always ❤️

The handsome Kobe this evening had his tail tidied at the top, he stood like a superstar after last time he had to have the top all clipped due to a nasty injury to his dock last year. Super baby boy ❤️

Got to meet the beautiful Lola today. Booked in for a hunter clip with half a face, after an initial wait what your scary she stood extremely well. She is a TB who has always been twitched before the clipper has even been switched on so we started with a hand twitch and then let her nose go after a few strokes and she stood to let me do the rest of her body without it and just needed a hand twitch again to do her head ❤️

Forgot to put these up yesterday but the handsome 2yr old M&M had his 2nd ever trim ready for his first show of the season tomorrow. Face tidy, cat hairs off belly and bum as well as bottom of his tail levelled ❤️ he was a superstar and just wanted cuddles ❤️

A couple of tidy ups today, first up was the beautiful Rosie who needed her tail to match beibg hogged 😁 she had an issue in September last year and lost half her tail but it’s growing back slowly. She stood like a star in the sun for it.

Then we have the handsome Jules who had his face tidied, feather removed and tail tidied, no hogging as his mum wants to grow it back out 🥰 he was a star as always.

Well that’s Toby all packed up and sent home today, he has been a really good boy and has worked really hard the last 2 weeks. The difference is amazing to see 🥰

Handsome Toby today for his last full day with us, I worked him this morning and he was spot perfect even no reactions to the pigeon which was trying to cause problems again, no tensing which was amazing. Then this evening I got Freya on board on the lunge to see how he would be with a smaller less balanced rider and the pictures speak for themselves, lovely and relaxed in walk and trot ❤️ his mummy is happy to get him back tomorrow and I am happy to see the difference in the time he has been with us 🥰

Happy boys again this evening, I now get a lovely neigh off Jet when I arrive which I love but i do think he is hoping its his mummy 🥰
