☆ FLEA & TICK TREATMENT REMINDER ☆

With the warmer weather heading our way sadly it brings ticks too.

When was your dogs last treatment? 🤔
Has this jogged your memory? 😁

Typically flea season runs from early spring (now) till early autumn with peak activity in June and September!

They thrive is warm weather,dense and impacted coats🫠

I always carry a tick remover with me just in case!

Please make sure to keep all vaccinations and parasite treatments up to date, one can turn into a infestation so easily without prevention and treatment 🫡

Bodhi MRI Update

Hi Everyone 👋🏼

Lots of people have been asking how much money was raised with the raffle and was it enough.. so here’s the update I’ve promised a lot of you!

The raffle it’s self raised an amazing £1150

Bodhi’s GoFundMe reached £1013 as of last night (GoFundMe will take a % so it’s cashed out as £972)

Bodhi’s mum has had some cash donations from friends and family £140

Grand total being - £2262

When we first started the fundraising journey Bodhis mum (Toria) was following the vets advice and they recommended a place in Chester and the initial quote was just short of £5k. A couple of weeks ago a lady messaged me telling me about a place in Wigan where she had her dog MRI scanned. I passed the details on to Toria to contact them. After phone calls and questions and even letting the vets know as they needed a referral from them.. turns out this place is just as good as the first initial place and it’s closer to home and cheaper! A lot cheaper. They have quoted that the most they need for the scan and the things that are included with that (consultation, bloods, spinal tap if required) is £2500. They also said they would accept the fundraising money as a ‘deposit’ and then any money short Toria is able to pay off herself and with a payment plan if needed across a certain amount of time.

The scan is booked for 9th April. 🤞🏼

I will be taking Toria and Bodhi seems as I’m his personal chauffeur! And I’ll be with them all day for as long as we need to be there.

I’m sure you can imagine this is a scary time for Bodhi’s mum and now the scan is booked it’s very ‘real’ . And less than two weeks away.

I’m sure you will all join me in channeling some good luck vibes as we pray and manifest the best outcome possible 🤞🏼 ❤️

Myself and Toria would like to say a massive heartfelt thankyou to everybody involved in this journey so far since the vets said this was the next step and the fundraising started. People keep saying how amazing I am but it wasn’t even my idea. I was only meant to collect some prizes for an online raffle being done via Instagram (Bodhi has a lot of Instagram followers!) and it snowballed into very generous local people with local businesses wanting to help way more than I ever anticipated. The warmth I got in my inbox with offers of prizes was absolutely mind blowing. I stopped counting the £ worth of the raffle when it got to £2500!!! People’s generosity really blew my mind. Thankyou to each and every business/person who donated a prize. Thankyou to everyone who bought a ticket. Thankyou to everyone who ‘shared the posts’ and helped us sell more tickets. You are all amazing and thanks to this massive collective effort of humans and their kindness the scan is now booked and Toria will get the answers she has been waiting for.

Upcoming holiday dates I won’t be available for Dog walking or Dog sitting. As a new dog walker I do feel guilty taking time off when my availability isn’t the best as it is. Unfortunately my husbands Job is now a full time in office job so I need to be available for my children. I want to give my customers as much notice as possible. Solo walks have so many benefits, and people ask me to walk their dogs for different reasons by themselves.

🐾 Elderly or recovering from a injury or surgery

🐾 Very young and not ready for a group situation

🐾 Dogs who struggle being with other dogs or just want their own space

🐾 People that would like me to focus on some basic training or help with building confidence, some people just want their dog to have all of my attention and time. ( please remember I’m not a dog trainer, it’s just experience from my own personal handling of dogs)

No matter why people choose a solo walk for their dog, I make it my top priority to give that dog all my love, attention and time.

I love seeing dogs come on and feel more confident or progress with their recall or lead work.

Solo walks give me the chance to help with all this 🥰❤️🐾
