I forgot to get a picture of Sammy today! 🤦🏻‍♀️ He was such a good boy when I went to see him today. ⭐️ This afternoon I had two other stay and play sessions to do. One for Boo and one for Bear. Luckily for me, Max at All-4 K9’s had finished for the day so I had assistance in transporting Boo safely to see Bear. I decided to have Bear help me teach Boo the ‘Touch’ command. This took around 30 minutes and we got there! Still a way to go but the basis is there and she’s almost ready to introduce the command. 😊 A little disruption at the end but she did so well!

Lunch bunch and morning Nugget ♥️ 🐾 Holly, Melba, Bailey bear and Nugget. 🥰 All perfect 👌 water break was taken in the shade and we continued our walk and dropped everyone off. All walks are now done for the day. Stay and play sessions will follow as the temperature has risen quickly.

Sammy did really well this morning. To save him getting too warm running around, we did some obedience on lead. He was great. Note when he gets up from the down the first time. I say ‘ah-ah’. This is called a mark of no reward. Sam knows this means he made a whoops and we simply try again. No awful consequences but if you notice, he held the down until I called him to heel on the next occasion. 👌

⭐️ UPCOMING GROUP CLASSES!! ⭐️ Here’s Sammy being the golden boy for a demo of what’s to come in the new group classes that will be starting soon! 🤩 I have Sammy for 3 hours a week and this has been achieved over the last couple of years working with him. There’s more than this that he’s capable of but this is some of the basics. If you’d like to attend group classes, pay on the day, no obligation to commit to all classes and work on things like this, drop me a message. Each week will be a different topic. I’ll show you what to do and help you adjust techniques depending on the way your dog responds.

A little video from Thursdays session with Bear. Bear had already picked up ‘down’ but was also taught ‘Bang’ (laying on his side like a shot puppy). This caused him some confusion and he’d throw his head, wiggle or just get up 😂 As you can see, we’re creating a much better ‘down’ and he’s doing really well!
