A very obliging Buzzard sat atop the telegraph post just over the road from the shop earlier today. They are normally quite camera shy so I was pleased this one was happy to have its photo taken!

That Joe bloke chap has spent a lot of time upgrading the Feathers optics website with very little, in fact no help from me what-so-ever. 😔

No doubt about it that Feathers place deserves the unique reputation of being the best place to get *birdy stuff* and *optics* in the south east.... probably in the country.

While Joe and I were in Africa earlier this year one of the birds I wanted him to see was the Long-tailed Nightjar. This bird has an amazing camouflage when roosting on the ground during the day.
Can you see it in the first picture? the second shows you what you are looking for. 🙂
