A few minutes of video from The Gambia this year.
As you can see a tad windy in the garden.
The Mistle thrush still managed to get some tasty berries for breakfast.
A Willow warbler in my garden doing it's stuff after a refreshing shower.
This lovely little Tree creeper was in the garden early this morning,
it's been nine long years since the last one. 😍
A short movie to show you how much the willow warblers/chiffchaffs enjoy a bath.
The noise in the background is work being done in the field behind the house...🤫
Here is a siskin taking a bath in slow motion. 😊
A pair of bullfinches on the black sunflowers.
All the finches can be a bit messy when feeding, they do stay on the feeders thus enabling you to give them a *Good looking at* 😍
It's easy to get distracted when you are sitting in the snug trying to write the newsletter when the feeders are so busy. 😁
R. U. Sure?
Those were the days...... 🥰
Finches can be a bit messy when eating even the sunflower hearts, this bullfinch is on the black sunflowers and like the goldfinches and siskins he does seem to drop/discard a fair amount, I did have words with him ..... he just said he was thinking of the ground feeders and they can get some *easy-ready* food thanks to him..
Another very happy day with Joe at Feathers yesterday 🥰
Met lots of customers / friends, had lots of chat and lots of laughter. 😀
My Saturdays at the shop do me a power of good, the Joe bloke keeps an eye on me when I'm at the till, I'm still making the odd cock-up but I never did have the knack of it even after three years trying to work it out. 😜
Anyway..... here is a distant shots of the Grey wagtail on the barn roof and a movie of one in my pond from last year..
