Wine Not? Because Alcohol is Toxic for Pets! ❌

🍷Alcohol might be festive for us, but it's dangerous for pets! Even a small sip can cause vomiting, difficulty breathing, or worse.

Keep those cocktails and mulled wines well out of paw’s reach this holiday season! 🎄🐾

Our Story

Our veterinary practice was opened in 1987 by Gerald Valentine (having moved from his previous surgery in Heywood to the more spacious facilities here in Castleton). He was joined in 1993 by Simon Cogan and, 10 years later by Adam Deavin). In 2003, Gary Dybdall came on board, as 15-yeard old completing his work experience for school. In 2004, Gary worked for Valentine’s by cleaning kennels until 2005, when he left to do his training. He returned to us in May 2016 as a full-time qualified vet.

Together the partnership offers you over 60 years of veterinary experience with the emphasis on good communication and a caring attitude.

The practice deals with all aspects of small animal veterinary medicine and surgery at a well equipped, convenient site.

We have a large adjacent carpark for free easy parking so feel free to pop in and see us.
