A great sit is really helpful for controlling our gorgeous exuberant dogs it makes saying hello to people easier, waiting in lines, opening doors and even getting ready to go out. 🚪

We often say practice in different places to ensure your dog really understands... build some distance if you can and use distractions
A wall of Kong toys 🧸 is a great distraction 👏👏

Make sure you know what signs to look for and how to best help your dog

Here comes the 🌞 for a breif visit!

Spotting the signs of heat stroke can be life saving
🐾Mild
*excess panting which continues after activity has stopped and dog is removed from hot environment
*Fatigue or reluctance to move
*can appear stiff

🐾Moderate
*Drooling
* Sickness and Diarrhoea
* A seizure
* Collapse with recovery

🐾Severe
*Uncordinated or Wobbly
* 2 or more seizures
* Lethargic and unresponsive*Unconcious

Gradual cooling and avoiding cold water were previously recommended but this Myth has been busted... rapid cooling can significantly improve the odds of a full recovery.

💦Full cold water immersion of adult dogs under constant supervision is reccomended until recovery or transport to vets.

Along with the use of fans and AC 🌬 on the wet dog at home and in the car to further cool the dog 🧊
