With 17 years of experience in the lighting control industry, Richard began in production, progressed to Sales Engineer, and ultimately became a Director, overseeing both technical and administrative departments.

He possesses in-depth knowledge of Rako products and project specifications and manages sales in the South West.

Warren has worked at Rako for 12 years and has been in the AV industry for 24 years, bringing a wealth of experience in project management and sales! He collaborates with AV dealers, M&E consultants, designers and electrical engineers, making connections with anyone eager to buy Rako from the Dartford crossing to the border of Lincolnshire and east London.

Outside of work, Warren loves staying active with his family through bike rides and dog walks and enjoys working out and playing strategy and fantasy board games.

Richard Campbell with over two decades of experience in the electrical industry, he excels in translating lighting control technical terms into comprehensible solutions for our clients. Richard's collaboration with electrical contractors, system integrators, lighting designers, M&E consultants and architects enables the successful ex*****on of high-end residential and large commercial lighting control projects in the northern regions of England as well as Ireland and Scotland. 

In his free time Richard volunteers for a charity ​​helping people who are experiencing mental health challenges in their day-to-day lives.

Rako are proud to announce that we have our first employee to have reached 20 years service – Ben Ross.

Ben joined the Rako team as the first employee at the Chatham Dockyard in February 2005 as a Trainee Technical Support Engineer.

Ben has been steadfast in his support to the Rako team throughout his 20 years in a number of roles, aiding and supporting the company’s steady growth. Ben has always been popular with our customers too, with many of them taking the time to contact us to praise Ben's work and great customer service.

At Rako we focus on assisting dealers and installers to ensure successful project completion and high quality, user-friendly systems.  We are currently looking for a Trainee Support Engineer to join our renowned support team.

Whilst candidates do not require direct experience, a strong interest in technology, particularly in smart home, AV, electronics, computing, or networking would be advantageous.

The role is based at our Rochester HQ with site visits (when trained and if applicable) predominantly occurring in London and the South East. 

Training on the product, system, software and related lighting control concepts will be provided.

Full UK Driving Licence desirable but not essential.
