100 days in for this sweet old pair!! there must be a home out there able to offer a retirement home for them!
please Contact Danaher animal centre for more information. https://danaheranimalhome.org.uk/cats/78550/queenie-duchess

Queenie and Duchess are a beautiful pair looking for their ideal retirement home together where they can build on their confidence and both come of of their shells in there own time.

Duchess is the more confident of the two and really enjoys a gentle fuss or groom from her handlers.

Queenie needs more time and at the moment is more comfortable with a hands off approach.

These two girls ended up in out care through no fault of their own and really deserve a second chance.

They will need to be the only pets and any children in the home would need to be around 16 years and older.

If you are able to offer these two a safe sanctuary where they can blossom into the sweet characters we know they could be then please full out an interest form below!

💙 My background:
Hello everyone, my name is Marshall, affectionately know as Marsh or Marshmallow. I arrived at Danaher as a stray with my friend, so my carers don't know anything about my past.

🐾 My personality:
I am a precious little boy with tons of love to give and I never fail to make people smile. I may come across as quiet at first, my once I warm up to you I am very talkative and loving!

😊 How I feel about people:
I am a shy soul at first but it doesn't take me long to relax. After a shy start I form bonds and attachments really quickly. I just love being around people.

🐶 How I feel about dogs:
I just loves dogs! I can’t express how much other dogs mean to me. I love walking with my friends every dogs and playing off lead. I’d love a dog friend in my new home please. I enjoy running and chasing, so a friend who can keep up with me would be my best match.

❤️ What I love:
I love nothing more than your attention and a fuss. I like to lay on your lap and have a stroke. I am a sociable boy and love being around people and dogs. I love my walks, I trot along gently on the lead on my little paws without pulling.

⭐ Training needs:
I might need some reminders about rules and toileting in the home, so please allow me time to learn your routine.

🏠 My dream home:
I would love a quiet home that can understand I have a shy side in new environments, but once I come out of shell I am I happiest little boy. I would love my own garden and a doggy friend in my new home. Do you have room in your heart for my shy soul and precious paws?

Marshall is currently at Danaher animal centre. please enquire with them applications.

💙 My background:
Hello everyone, my name is Roseena, but everyone calls me Rose. I found myself in Danaher's care with my friend when we were both found as strays. My carers don't know anything about my background, but I settled in quickly and they have gotten to know me well.

🐾 My personality:
I am a lively young lurcher full of love and energy.

😊 How I feel about people:
I am friendly and confident around new people, I am happy to meet new people and have fuss and attention from them

🐶 How I feel about dogs:
I get on best with calm dogs with lower energy than me. I can walk alongside any dog but when it comes to playing off lead I am unsure and need a lot of introductions before I can play off lead with supervision.

❤️ What I love:
I love long walk as well as being able to run and play with my toys off lead.

⭐ Training needs:
My carers don't know if I have lived in a house before so please allow me time to learn about your home its routine and boundaries.

🏠 My dream home:
I need a home with some experience of owning dogs so I can continue socialising and learning how to play with other dogs. I need a home with my own garden, previously being a stray and being a sighthound I cannot be let off lead in public, so i need my own garden to zoom around and play in.

Roseena is currently at Danaher animal centre. please enquire directly with them for more information about her. https://danaheranimalhome.org.uk/dogs/53611/roseena

Young Talia is hoping to find her forever home soon after spending months at a pound after being found straying and nearly ending up losing her life due to no future placement.

Luckily we found her just in time to take her in and help find her a perfect home.

Being only 1 year and 10 months old Talia is a bundle of energy and has a great zest for life. Talia is a Rottweiler cross and is looking for an energetic family who enjoys training and learning new things as much as she does. She knows many tricks and is generally a very well behaved girl who loves meeting new people and other dogs. But she does pull on her lead and is very strong so needs to practise some loose lead walking, luckily she is very clever and loves a treat so should soon master this.

Talia could live with children over the age of 12 years old who are used to big, bouncy dogs and could possibly live with another dog pending introductions.

If you think you might have the perfect home to offer for Talia, then please fill in an application below.

https://form.jotform.com/211802640777355

We are sorry but we cannot take applications on the phone unless you do not have access to the internet.

Adoption fee £250.00 and virtual home visit apply. Talia is not spayed and will need to return to us at appropriate time to have this done, she is microchipped, vaccinated and is worm and flea treated.

💙 My background:
Hello everyone, my name is Kim! I came into Danaher through no fault of my own and I cannot wait to get back into a warm home to be spoilt by my new family. I am told I am Danaher’s very special golden oldie! ....quite literally with my golden coat!

🐾 My personality:
I am calm and collected and only show my fun and loving side to those who are closest to me and I thrive on spending lots of time with my family who understand and love me the most.

😊 How I feel about people:
I am reserved and relaxed around new people and it takes me time to let you into my heart but once you've found your way in I am extremely loving and loyal!

🐶 How I feel about dogs:
I am non- reactive seeing dogs on my walks, and this is not to be mistaken that I am friendly. I am not a fan of dogs and don't tolerate meeting others so I would prefer to be the only dog in the home.

❤️ What I love:
I love toys and games! I like travelling someone new and exploring new places.

⭐ Training needs:
I might need some reminders about rules and toileting in the home, so please allow me time to learn your routine.

🏠 My dream home:
I would love a quiet home with just me and my owner, no other animals. I would love my own garden to potter about and play in with all my favourite toys, but most of all I would love a warm and cozy spot on the sofa.

**RESERVED**
Some of you might have seen our previous post (and shared and donated (Thank you so much!!!)) about Daisy who came to us after being abandoned and in a terrible medical state. After extensive treatment Daisy is now ready to start looking for her perfect forever home,

Throughout her ordeal Daisy has always kept her spirit up, her tail has never stopped wagging and she always has a big smile on her lips to share.
For this reason we think that Daisy deserves to be treated like royalty. This would include sofa and bed rights at all times! And a constant flow of her 3 big loves in life. Food! Walkies!! and lots and lots of cuddles!!!

If you love gentle walks enjoying the countryside and cosy afternoons snuggled up on the sofa then Daisy could be the perfect companion for you. Daisy walks lovely on a lead, does a nice sit and paw even when not asked. She is housetrained, and loves a car ride where she can gaze out of the window.

Daisy could live with children over the age of 8 years old, and potentially share her home with another dog, pending successful introductions. But she does get a bit too excited around cats so a home without small furies would be ideal.

Daisy’s medical history will be discussed with future adopters, but please do email [email protected] if you require more info before applying.

If you think you might have the perfect home to offer for Daisy, then please fill in an application below.

We are sorry but we cannot take applications on the phone unless you do not have access to the internet.
Adoption fee £250.00 and virtual home visit apply. Daisy is neutered, and microchipped, she has had her first vaccination and is worm and flea treated.

**RESERVED**
Sadie, our French Bulldog who is 9 years old, arrived in our care through no fault of her own after her previous owner could no longer care for her. Sadie is currently staying in a foster home and her foster family describes her as a true little angel.

Sadie is very affectionate and has great manners, she walks lovely on the lead, she loves the company of the other foster dogs, so could potentially share her new home with another dog, pending introductions, but could equally thrive in a home as the only pet.
She enjoys meeting new people and she is always keen to make best friends with everyone she meets.

Sadie could live with children of 10 years plus. She is housetrained and travels well in the car.

If you think you might have the perfect home to offer for Sadie, then please fill in an application below.

My background:
Hello everyone, meet Sid! This little lad was found as a stray so we don’t know anything about his past. Sid has settled in quickly and it hasn’t taken us long to get to know him at all!

My personality:
Sid is a happy, out-going boy who loves to play and be in your company. His lovely nature and cheeky charm always makes us smile.

How I feel about people:
Sid is friendly meeting new people and is quick to enjoy fuss and affection.

How I feel about dogs:
Sid is not a fan of dogs so he needs to be the only dog on the home, and he needs space from others on his walks.

What I love:
Sid love toys and games, and plenty of fuss and attention!

Training needs:
Please allow Sid some time to learn your routine and rules of the home, we don’t have any info of Sid in a house, but we do know he’s quick to adapt to new environments.

Sid is dog reactive so needs someone experience to support him on lead when seeing other dogs.

My dream home:
Sid would love a home who understands his breed and enjoys their energy and charming personality. Sid tells us he would love a home filled with toys, his own spot on the sofa to snuggle into and a garden space of his own to play in.

Please follow the link for more info on Sid: https://danaheranimalhome.org.uk/dogs/88582/sid

**REHOMED**

Betty with her big soulful eyes is hoping she can soon find a home with a loving family and a warm soft sofa for her to stretch her long legs on.

Betty is a sweet and gentle 4 year old lurcher. She greets everyone in a kind and welcoming way and loves cuddles. Betty enjoys long walks in the countryside or a nice stroll through the woods. If you have a ball and an offer of a game of fetch, (yes she does bring the ball back to you!) then Betty will be your best friend forever.

She gets on great with other dogs and could possibly share her new home with one pending successful introduction. Betty cannot live with cats. Being a sighthound Betty does have a prey drive and would need to be kept on a long lead when out in public, she would benefit from her own private garden where she can have some of lead time and practise her ball catching skills. Betty can live with children over the age of 8 years old, she travels well in the car and is housetrained.

If you think you might have the perfect home to offer for Betty, then please fill in an application below.

We have received the happy news from Daisy's vets that they are confident all the bad tissue has been removed and that Daisy is now cancer free 🎉🤩 we are so delighted for her!!

Daisy is still recovering from her surgeries, but will hopefully be back to her cheery self soon and able to enjoy sunshine walks again.
She is planning to start looking for her forever home soon.

We would like to thank everyone who has shared Daisy's story or donated to her veterinary bill so far. we are going to keep the fundraising open for now, so if you are looking to make a donation there is still a chance.

**********************************************************
We rarely share what goes on behind the scene, but the sad truth is that many of the animals that come to us are in need medical attention.

One of these cases was Daisy who we recently took in after her owner took her to her vets for PTS, the first vet refused to put Daisy to sleep and she was then taken to another vet allegedly "found" tied to a tree.

Daisy had a mammary mass the size of a tennis ball, a urine infection and large bladder stone. despite being so unwell Daisy is the gentles and kindest soul, everyone who meets her cant help fall instantly in love with her.
Daisy has been a trouper throughout her ordeal and several surgeries and is currently recovering from what we hope will be her last surgery. of course all this vet treatment hasn't come without a cost Daisy's current bill at the vets is at £3,039.75 and there is still more to add to that likely £1000-£2000 for her latest surgery that included a mammary strip leaving a scar of about 40cm.
We are hopeful that Daisy is now cancer free but we are currently waiting for the last test results. we will update you as soon as we hear from the vet.

We know times are though , but we appreciate anything you can give even if its only a share so our appeal will reach more people. If you would like to donate even a small amount towards Daisy's surgery please follow this link https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/daisycancerfree

** REHOMED**
This lovely 8 month old collie pup is Lila!! Lila is the sweetest little ball of energy who loves everyone and seemingly everyone loves her.

Lila came to us after her first home could no longer care for her needs, unfortunately this involved not going on regular walks, so Lila can quickly become overwhelmed when outside.

Lila is very intelligent and being an active breed she will need lots of physical exercise aswell as mental stimulation every day.
Lila is highly food motivated so positive reward based training should be a fun challenge for her and her new family to take on.
She will need to take things slow at first until she is fully grown and tad more confident being out in the real world.

Lila could live with children over 8 years who are used to bouncy high energy dogs. She could potentially live with another dog pending introduction

If you think you might have the perfect home to offer for Lila, then please fill in an application below.

Benjamin has now been in our care for 101 days and has had very little interest. 😔
He is a sensitive soul and needs to find a home where he can settle in at his own pace and his needs of peace and comfort will be understood.
Although it takes a minute for him to warm up to strangers once he’s comfortable around you he is just the best boy and is very loved among all his carers.

Freddie the frenchie is yet another unclaimed stray that has come to us in a sorry state. Even though he is getting stronger by the day and gaining some weight, he is really looking for a home where he can settle in and be pampered as he is quite sad by being in kennels and really needs a warm loving home to fully recover.

Freddie is a sweet little chap and at nearly 8 years old he really just wants an easy pace of life now, he loves going out for his walks and walks lovely by your side. He is a snuggle bunny and just wants a warm settee where he can cosy up with his new family.

He has been friendly with the dogs he has met so far and could potentially share a home with another one. Children in the home should be over the age of 10 years old.
