I captured the most breathtaking panoramic drone shot at Blea Tarn! At 80 meters up, the view was simply mesmerizing, with the sun gracefully straddling the hillside, and the clouds were beautifully reflected in the calm waters below.

Here’s to more adventures and capturing stunning moments like these. 🌄📸

There’s something magical about mornings at Lake Coniston. The water is a perfect mirror, reflecting the serene beauty of the surrounding trees. Mist gently rolls through the forest, adding a touch of mystery to the tranquil scene. In the distance, the first light of sunrise kisses the peak of a distant mountain, promising a day filled with wonder and peace. Moments like these remind me of nature’s quiet power and the simple joys in life.

Whilst my drone was hoovering in the air and my feet were planted on the edge of Lake Coniston I quickly swapped lenses to try picking out details further down the lake.
The mist was quickly being burnt off by the rising sun and at the same time lighting the hills above.
I did my best to capture the solitude shown only by the lone duck.

From 80 meters in the air, the view was breathtaking! It was incredible to capture a panoramic misty sunrise over Lake Coniston. With the soft morning light breaking through the mist the beauty of the lake was framed by the rolling hills and lush greenery.

Its been a while since I posted, with lots to catch up on. First place to start, as everyone has seen and heard so much about recently, Friday nights Aurora. I was lucky enough to be up in the Lake District and my last night this amazing phenomenon happened, the likes of which we've not seen since 1932.

As the tide receded, I ventured down into the depths of the Thames, where an old cobbled path awaited, glistening with the reflections of streetlights dancing upon the wet stones.

With Tower Bridge majestically spanning the skyline, its illuminated arches casting a mesmerising glow across the water. The timeless beauty of the bridge juxtaposed against the modernity of the cityscape was truly breathtaking!

With every click of the shutter, I endeavoured to capture not just an image, but a feeling—a sense of wonder and awe at the architectural marvel before me, steeped in history and grandeur.

Just before sunset, the world seemed to slow down, and I captured the quiet beauty of this place in all its glory. The warm, soft light painting the sky, creating a serene atmosphere that's impossible to forget.

The tranquil waters of the river, the wind gently swaying the reeds, and the iconic Thurne Mill standing tall – all combined to create a picture-perfect moment.

This long exposure shot allowed me to showcase the beauty of the mill, making it look like a fairy tale scene with the blurred movement of the water and the streaks of colour in the sky.

Fortunately the rain held off a little longer while up London, but I'm glad it did rain and that I stayed, the light reflecting off the wet pavement adds substance that otherwise would be missing.
