Let’s talk about the ‘older dogs’

This lovely dog is nearly 16 yrs old and still loves a little jolly around the woods, the same as she has with me since a puppy.
She doesn’t want to be left at home

Dogs her age nearly all have mobility problems and are often a lot leaner.
They are not sick , mistreated or starved , it’s just an age thing.

So when you see a dog that’s lame or not as fat as you would like , bare a thought on how old that dog could be.
Be kind, ask the owner about the dog , please never make assumptions on a much loved and cared for dog.

I am your dog walker

I don’t ‘just walk dogs’
I am your eyes when you are not there
I often see health issues on your dog before you
I give your dog medication
I feed your dog
I take your dog to the vets
I clear up any accidents
I cut your dogs nails
I socialise your dog from day one
I protect your dog when we walk
I support you from the day your puppy arrives
I have been with you and your dog when it’s time they cross rainbow bridge
I help you search for your dog if it’s gone missing
I find a loving new home for your dog if you need to
I help find the right dog/ puppy for you when you are looking for one

I water your plants
I take in your parcels
I have eyes on any issues on your house when you are not there
I check you have not left your hair straighteners on
I tell you if I smell gas or something not right at your home
I turn lights on and off at home
I bring you spare keys when you get locked out
I pick up shopping if your stuck at home
I bring your dog to your wedding
I watch your families grow up
I hug you when you need one
I listen when you want to talk
I make you laugh when you need cheering up
I’ll do anything to help you
I’ll be as flexible as I can to make your life easier

I don’t ‘just walk dogs’ 🐾

A Doberman, a Poodle and a Sighthound died and are standing in front of God at the entrance to the kingdom of heaven ❤
God asks them all three, what they believe in?
The Doberman says: "I believe in discipline, training and loyalty to my owner."
"Good," says God, "take a seat on my right side." 😇
"Poodle, what do you believe in?" Asked God.
The Poodle answers: "I believe in love and care from my owner as well as peace in the world."
"Ah," God said, "You can take a seat to my left side." 😇
Then he looked at The Sighthound: "And what do you believe in?"
The Sighthound stood there, looked at him and answered :
"I believe you're sitting in my seat!" 😏

Barlee is all signed off from the vets , stitches are out and here she is enjoying a little visit to Scott’s of Southend for a winter coat fitting.
Go take a visit there for all your pets needs.
She will be joining us at work most days, l am
Sure she would love a cuddle and a treat if you see her.
