Kennels
Our purpose built kennels have a spacious indoor section and an insulated bedding area with under floor heating and a large outside run which also has a roof to protect from the rain or sun with views onto our green. We supply veterinary non slip bedding but owners are more than welcome to bring duvets or their regular bed that the dogs use at home. The kennels are thoroughly disinfected i

n the morning and cleaned throughout the day. All dogs are either exercised on lead on our surrounding fields or in a large exercise paddock where they can go off lead and have a good run. All paddocks are fully secure and dogs have a great time either playing ball or the older guys have a gentle stroll. On arrival we will ask you about your feeding and exercise routines so we can provide similar care whilst they stay with us. We aim to carter for all our guests likes and dislikes and supply a variety of quality foods all prepared in hygienic conditions. If we do not stock your chosen food owners are welcome to supply food at their own expense. We also have a small block of 5 kennels and another paddock away from the main kennel area which we reserve for elderly or nervous dogs. We have found that nervous dogs settle better into a smaller environment. All dogs staying in our care have to be up to date with their yearly vaccinations including kennel cough. Proof is requested on arrival. We are unable to accept any dogs or cats without these certificates. Cattery
Our cattery houses 8 standard pens and 14 deluxe cattery pens. Our cattery pens are one of the most spacious you will find in Essex and are all large enough to house families of up to 4 cats. Our cattery was fully upgraded and extended during late 2014 to the highest of specification including under floor heating and outdoor runs with garden views in all deluxe pens. All units are well ventilated and have wipe clean surfaces throughout to ensure the highest level of hygiene is maintained. We supply veterinary non slip bedding and litter trays, however owners are welcome to bring their own to provide a family smell and sense of home for their cat. Guests can see each other for company but no direct contact is possible. Our priority is to make sure your cat is happy, relaxed and comfortable. All guests receive regular interaction including brush time and lots of cuddles. All pens are thoroughly disinfected in the morning and cleaned throughout the day. All cats staying in our care have to be up to date with their yearly vaccinations.

Yes, it's time for those thank yous that we should say all year round..! This one is for our absolutely wonderful cattery Bed and biscuits and their amazing staff, and our fantastic vet Laurence at Goddard Vet Group. I must have sent them thousands of messages this year (at least 30% based on cat p**p), and they have tirelessly helped and supported us through it all. I can only thank our lucky stars we found such truly kind, brilliant people to work alongside. I'd be lost without them, and certainly not able to help any cats at all. They really do always go above and beyond for our cats, and every one has been treated like the beloved pet they should have been. Thank you more than I can say. Here's to doing it all again next year!!
