Tomorrow we head off on our travels to Wargem, Belgium for 20 years of Groomania and for the 2024 World Championships!!

I'll be competing as an individual on Friday at Groomania and then Sunday as a team for the Worlds!

The biggest competition of my life is days away! Holy flipping moly.

I'll be competing from 9:30 Belgium time so look out for the live stream on Simpsons Grooming Supplies and send in your support for Team. I'll update as and when I can but replies will be from Monday onwards.

Most recently I attended Premier Groom in August with Eddie and we won our class and then went on yo win Reserve Best In Show. Our next stop the worlds for the biggest competition of our lives!❤️❤️❤️

Bit late to the party but been so quiet on the socials. Back in May me and Jasmine competed at the Great British Grooming Show and bagged a 2nd place in our class. She's a lovely little girl🥰

First post in a little while. As always my schedule is crazy hectic, and on Monday, I was in Kent shooting a grooming guide to the Bedlington terrier. I had the pleasure of grooming the lovely Wellington. The video will be released to the Groomers Gallery later in the year. Just wanted to apologise for my lack of replies, struggling to keep up with demand, and the ever growing list of messages and missed calls are getting a bit too much if I'm honest. I'm grateful but struggling with it at the minute. I'll be sitting with my diary this afternoon to get back to a lot of people. Please be patient I'm trying here🙈❤️

First competition of the year at The Grooming Show. Me and Eddie placed 2nd in a tough champion class so chuffed to bits. Hes the dog I will have the pleasure of using for the World Championships in Belgium later this year❤️‍🔥

Hello everyone. Id like to start off by saying Happy New Year to you all. I hope you all had a lovely christmas and new year whatever you were up to. Our house has been full of the lurgy! I started feeling ill Christmas eve and still illl now! Not sure whats going on but Ive really bloody had enough of this now. I was hoping to have shared this post over christmas but I really havent felt up to it nor have I got done half of what I was supposed to. Typical to be ill the entirety of my time off.

So anyway, I want to keep it as short and sweet as possible so thought it would be easier to post like this. I understand this may affect some people and today I will contact people who are already booked to confirm they are happy with the new price. I appreciate some people may not be okay with that and I dont want anyone to feel like they have their hands tied. As always prices are based on 6-8 week schedule. Dogs going over 10 weeks (unless stated by myself) will be classed as a restyle groom and charged a restyle price. Prices are all estimates and the condition of the coat, style requested, size and behaviour of dog are all contributing factors that determine the final price. I will be (should have sorted over xmas but another thing ive been unable to get done) posting a simple price list to make things easier for this year and any new clients wanting to book. For now please contact me and I will confirm the new price for you.

A few things that I can share now
Nails - £10
Eye trim - £10
Flea charge - £20 (more in severe cases)
Dematting - from £5 for specific areas (tail or ears)
- full shave down from £25 on top of normal price
As always anything I deem as too severe will be shaved off, the dogs welfare is in my interest only. Not the hair style.

I had a fabulous weekend at the International Grooming Conference. I was up for Grand Champion Groomer of the Year. Not this time but I cant wait for the next competition year leading up to the World Championships in Europe! Im excited for whats in store for next year! Was so good to spend time with all of my groomer friends and not when we're all grooming. We all scrub up well wouldnt you say! I also picked up my framed Supreme Champion certificate as I won 3 Golden Scissor Awards. I need to get all of my awards on display now🥰

I have some announcements coming soon so keep an eye out! Im currently fully booked for December but had a few slots come available for end of November. If you havent got an appointment now is your time to. Please send me a message and Ill get back to you asap. Will be taking bookings for 2024 this weekend just organising my diary for comps and events first.

This weekend a group of us travelled from the UK to Belgium to compete in . I met my dog Lasse and his owner (who travelled from the Netherlands) the morning of the compeition and then in the afternoon we were in the ring. He was such a good boy for his first comp and first time meeting me but unfortunately no placement this time. Im chuffed to bits to go abroad and be amongst so many groomers from all over the world. The Pure Breed Scissor Champion class had 19 entries alone! Getting prepared for the World Championships next year. Cant wait to get abroad for the next competiton and improve and perfect my trim. What an amazing experience and so glad I had the opportunity to go. Thank you to Lasse and Janine for putting in all the work to get him compeition ready. Forever greatful🙏❤🐾

A little bit about Nancy!

Hi I’m Nancy Brincat and I represent the Pure Breed Scissor class for GTE

I began grooming by completing a 1 year apprenticeship with a basic Level 2 in Animal Care with a dog grooming pathway. During this time I heard of ICMG, and this is where my story really begins...

Almost 8 years since my apprenticeship, I have completed my ICMG with masters marks on all exams and, for the last 6 years, I have run my successful business from my home cabin in Romford.

I have won multiple awards competing and achieved Best In Show at Premier Groom 2022. I have receieved a nomination for the Liz Paul Achievement Awards for Groomer of the Year in 2022.

I adore my job and think every dog deserves to look its best. I am obsessed with all things Bedlington Terrier! After seven years of waiting I finally have a Bedlington of my own, her name is Aya. She is my first show dog and will be featuring in the competition circuit and fingers crossed coming to the worlds with me in 2024!

I have achieved so much in 8 years at the age of just 26 and cant wait to see what the future holds for my grooming and the many Bedlingtons I hope to own!

Last weekend I made my way to The Great British Grooming Show in Bolton. This was my first time competing at this comp and my first time grooming the lovely Jasmine. It was her first time in the competition circuit and she absolutely rocked it. She didnt put a foot out of place the whole day and we managed to bag ourselves 1st Place in the Pure Breed Scissor Champion class. I got to use my lovely new Groom Team England tablecloth and it was such a special day ❤️❤️
