GRADUATE (1, 0)
1. Bloomfield’s PARKNAB DIDO SAXON
Two-year-old blue bitch. Balanced head with pleasing planes, elegant neck leading into shoulders and level topline. Good width of thigh. Reluctant to stand but time is on her side. Moved well showing enthusiasm.

Many thanks to our Best In Show Judge Mrs Joanne Yates-Johnson (Pendley) for submitting her critique so promptly.
SOUTH WEST ESSEX CANINE ASSOCIATION OPEN SHOW.
25.8.2025.
My thanks to the committee for the invitation to judge at their open show and to my stewards for all their hard work. The overall standard was very high, and the group judges had sent some real quality dogs through for me to assess. It was a hot stifling day which most of the dogs coped with well.
BIS
Walker’s Dexbenella Livin The Dream .
What a beautiful young English Springer Spaniel dog this is, he really took my eye on the first sight . Just over a year but really looking the part. Beautiful head, excellent front construction matched with equally strong quarters. Strong topline. On the stand he created a balanced outline, and he maintained this on the move, really covering the ground and very true coming and going. Add to this beautifully presented and shown, he was the full package for me and won in a top-class line up.
RBIS
Collin’s Full Of The Dickens Winner Takes It All For Kingswud.
Another young dog of 16months, this Bearded Collie pushed the winner very close. As with the winner so easy to go over from his beautiful head to his excellent front construction and strong quarters. Lovely texture coat that was so well presented. Really came into his own on the move where he covered the ground so easily, maintaining a wonderful outline . With his full adult coat I would imagine he will do a lot of winning.
BPIS.
Hosie’s Shadowrise Smash’N Grab.
Lovely 8-month Newfoundland bitch. Large frame with good bone. Well balanced angles front and rear, strong topline. Really came into her own on the move where, for a large dog, she covered the ground with a great stride. Just needs to tighten up in front and fill out her frame. Beautifully presented and shown.
RBPIS.
Timm’s Olijah Dare To Dream.
Smart 10-month French Bulldog. Balanced on the stand, good front, cobby body with short, close coat. I liked the moderation of this dog, from his gentle curve over the loin to his moderate rear angulation. Up to size but came into his own on the move, where he really covered the ground, very true coming and going and this is what won him his placing. In excellent muscular condition and coped with the stifling conditions with no problems.
BVIS.
Davidson-Poston’s Ch/IR/Int Ch Spinillons Rebel Rowser JW ShCM CW14 VW ShCEx ROM VCH CLUB VCH.
What a stunning Papillon this 15year old was. Beautiful to go over from his wonderful head with lovely expression, dark eyes and excellent fringed ears through his balanced body with lovely construction. In excellent coat and beautifully presented. Moves with the style of a much younger dog, always held a wonderful outline.
RBVIS.
Fewing’s Ch Komidion Passionato VW.
Another wonderful veteran at 9 years old this Cesky Terrier really impressed. Beautiful head, well set and carried ears. Excellent front construction and strong quarters. Correct topline, gently rising to the loin. Held this shape on the move and very true coming and going. In excellent coat and beautifully presented and hard to believe she is a veteran.
A.V MINOR PUPPY STAKES.
1. Davis Lynste Dream Boy(AI).
Lovely 9-month Golden Retriever dog. Really impressed from the start. Great outline on the stand, good head and balanced angles front and rear, good bone. Moved very well, covering the ground and holding a good outline. In great coat and beautifully presented and shown.
2. Upton-Lovett & Upton’s Heartbury Endless Love With Roydack.
A 6 month English Pointer giving a lot away in age to the winner. Good outline on the stand, good bone, strong topline and good quarters. Moved well covering the ground, just needs to firm up behind a bit. In lovely muscular condition and handled well.
3. Hughes Arunmere Rhapsody In Red.
A.V PUPPY STAKES.
1. Davis Lynste Dream Boy.
2. Laffling’s Araki Dipsy Dreamlover.
A lovely 9-month Tibetan Terrier. Attractive head, straight topline and well carried tail. In excellent, well-presented coat. Moved very well holding a lovely outline and very true coming and going.
3. Siddle, Siddle & Mazzeo’s Wilchrimane Cereal Killer.
A.V OPEN STAKES.
1. Davidson-Poston’s ROM Ch/ROM GCH/CLUB Ch Elena Kolekcja Szuwarka Spinillons JW CLUB JR CH(IKC).
Another beautiful Papillon. Attractive head, well carried and fringed ears. Good front construction, level topline and balanced quarters. In great coat with well plumed and carried tail. Maintained this great outline on the move and really covered the ground, true coming and going.
2. Armstrong’s Rigaze Dalai Gartock At Tizzycharm.
A smashing Tibetan Terrier to go over on the table. Good head, excellent angles front and rear, strong topline creating a lovely outline. Good profuse double coat beautifully presented. Moved really well, covering the ground and maintaining a great outline.
3. Parson’s Quensha Thinking Out Loud At Bransett JW.
