**A36 - National Highway resurfacing works**

A heads up that National Highways are starting resurfacing works on the A36 between Plaitford and Ower next Monday, 2nd September.

National Highways correspondence says they will be enhancing the A36 between Plaitford and Ower with a smoother, quieter surface and fresh road markings to boost driver safety. 🛣️✨

🕗 Work Schedule: Weeknights from 8pm to 6am (less traffic). Road open during the day.

🔴 Temporary Traffic Lights: Short sections between East Wellow and Plaitford from Monday 2 to Wednesday 18 September. Property access maintained.

🔇 Noise Control: Noisy work early evening to minimize overnight disturbance.

🚫 Closures: A36 southbound to M27 from Ower Roundabout closed at night (8pm to 6am) on 19, 20, and 23 September. Diversion via A36 Romsey Road and A326.

📅 Plan Ahead: Allow extra travel time. Work will be subject to weather conditions.

The road is shut from the roundabout. Follow Gardeners lane, left into Ryedown and then left into Windwhistle. Left onto the A36 again. It looks to be emergency works as not advertised.

Paws Park is CLOSED on Thursday 11th July as the Shelley Oaks Woolies are having their hair cut.

Ground conditions: After a rather typical Bank Holiday deluge of rain, the ground is saturated again. Mud fans only until further notice.

An Update: This past winter has been miserable, the Paws Park has been closed for most of it as we have had so much rain. Things are starting to improve, we've managed to get out on the field to do some maintenance but there's a great deal to do everywhere on the farm as I'm sure you can appreciate. New registrations - please read the "Read this first" information on our website BEFORE making a booking. Romsey Paws Park is a beautiful acre of farmland for you and your dog to enjoy. Be aware it is not a sterile, Alcatraz style field, you will need to look elsewhere for that. We are a single, independent dog exercise field, proceeds are used to help run our farm in a kind, environmentally friendly way.

As Christmas approaches we're halting new registrations for now. Existing clients welcome to book sessions as normal. New registrations open again in the New Year when the ground conditions improve. Thank you 🐾
