Turned out this handsome chap for the heavy horse show in Abergavenny. First time out and won his class 🥇 What a lovely show spent with some lovely people. ❤️

Been a busy few weeks with backing a few at home and showing. Had a great time at the Royal Three Counties grooming for a lovely friend of mine on the Friday, who’s first time in the show ring proved a success, winning the part bred Arabs and then took overall reserve champion.
On the saturday took two of our own in the ring, to get two fourths in a strong coloured classes.

So today we finally cracked it… Chester has been so patient and his owner (Alex) with me learning. This is my third time. I knew absolutely nothing from the start. Now I can come away knowing how to plait a Clydesdale. Looking forward to turning this boy out for the showring. 🐴 ❤️

Had a little practice at half doing a tail today thank you Chester and his lovely owner Alex for arranging today with a lovely heavy horse judge to come and give a few tips.

Today was an educational day.
I had the pleasure of plaiting the lovely Barnahill Chester. This was my first time plaiting a heavy horse EVER. I didn’t put flights in. However what a patient young man he was for the fact he is only 4 ❤️
