We had the loveliest two weeks with the gorgeous Kofi. This fourteen year old girl was full of confidence and knew exactly what she wanted…cuddles! The minute you put her favourite blanket down, Kofi would hop up for some snuggles and head rubs 💗

Our beautiful boy Beau enjoying the sunshine! With the weather set to reach highs of 30° this week, here are a few tips to keep your cats cool this summer ☀️

🐾 Keep lots of water around the house and make sure it is nice and cold.

🐾 Make some ice cubes, these can be super fun to play with and will help keep their paws cool. You can also blend a can of tuna in some water to make some fishy ice cube treats!

🐾 If they are panting or have low energy, take them to a cool part of the house and encourage them to drink water.

🐾 Offer them some cool areas inside to relax. Cooling mats are a great option but a wet towel works well too.

🐾 Make sure you groom them often so they're not carrying around excess fur.

There’s no one-size fits all method for taking care of cats 💗 Each one has a unique personality and routine so whether they’re confident or shy, indoor or outdoor, needing quiet time or lots of playtime, we tailor each visit to their individual needs.

For nervous owners, perhaps with cats needing medication, we’re able to administer this for them. And, thanks to volunteering at New Start Cat Rescue Charity, Gayle is feline first-aid trained 🐈‍⬛

We had the most fantastic week looking after Benji, Smokey, Angus, Peter and Pickle! 🐾 This gorgeous group of boys were so friendly, each with their own personality to get to know.

Benji (the littlest one!) would hop onto my back as I dished up dinner, and always wanted first dibs! They did well to cope with the hot weather and would help me water the garden each morning 🌿

Beautiful Tango loves to take us on a walk around her garden and sit on her favourite cushion watching the world go by 🐾 As an older lady, she likes to take things a little slower and we adore spending time with her 💗

Introducing Phoebe and Benji, officially our youngest clients at just 12 weeks old 💗 This perfect pair were just one week into living in their new home when we visited them. But you wouldn’t be able to tell. They are the most confident little kittens who loved playing together, chasing each other and occasionally bopping each other too 😆 How special to have a sibling bond for life. We can’t wait to see them grow up 🐾

Bunter and Wimsey are two adorable brothers with an incredible bond 🐈‍⬛ Over time, they have grown in confidence and now both sit on our laps!

When we first met these lovely boys, they were quite nervous, so we would sit quietly to let them get used to us, gradually greeting us at the door to then coming over for head rubs. It’s so rewarding that they feel so comfortable around us now 💗

Beautiful Stevie is an absolute angel, just look how relaxed she is in the second photo 😌 She’s always waiting at the door for us when we arrive as she knows treats are coming! She loves being groomed and we simply adore spending time with her 🐾
