The wonderful signs of release after spinal manipulation and realignment ๐
During musculoskeletal treatments it's so important to give the horse time to process and release. This came after a pelvis adjustment. I did the manipulation then took my hands off and gave her a minute.
Just watch ๐
The nostril and muzzle twitches, the heavy eye, the blink, the ear flicks, the gentle adjusting of the head, the gulp and the lick and chew.
Beautiful ๐
How do you think your horse feels?
Your horse could be subconsciously compensating, subtly changing their movement patterns to make up for niggles elsewhere.
The horse won't notice they're doing it. And neither will you.
My job is to nip these niggles and subtle compensation patterns in the bud before they become really obvious and much more difficult to correct.
This is how a shoulder groove should be ๐ Zero soft tissue restrictions, beautifully free fascia creating freedom for that big scapula. Just what you want, particularly in a dressage horse.
Looks a bit weird mind!

๐ขAnnouncement! Please watch!๐ข
Hi everyone! Long time no speak!
I will be officially back from maternity soon and I'll send out another post about that later this week... but in the meantime, can you all help me out with something please...
Do you think having exercise videos (like the one below) to watch would help you better perform the exercises?
The idea being you have something to keep re-watching to make sure you are performing the exercises correctly, and therefore helping your horse recover/increase performance more quickly.
Can you comment below if you think this would be helpful to you as an owner.
Thanks!
(This has also gone out on my personal page so apologies if some of you are seeing it twice!)
