Paula’s funeral will take place on Friday 10th May at 12 p.m. at Grenoside Crematorium., 5 Skew Hill Ln, Grenoside, Sheffield S35 8RZ .

The cortege, which will include a horse drawn carriage, will leave Brook Hill at 11.20 a.m. Family flowers only, donations in lieu of flowers gratefully received to Rain Rescue (donations can be made online at https://rainrescue.co.uk/donate/.

All are welcome to attend.
Following the service, we will be holding a gathering from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at The Barley Bar and Restaurant, 9 Smithy Wood Rd, Thorpe Hesley, Rotherham S61 2SE. Light refreshments will be served.

I would like to thank everyone for their messages of support at this very difficult time. Paula was my beloved wife, soul mate and business partner, and your kind thoughts are greatly appreciated. In terms of Brook Hill Pet Services, I have come to the difficult decision that it will be impossible to continue in the same way as before.

I have decided not to continue with overnight boarding and holiday boarding. Existing bookings are cancelled and no future bookings will be taken. It is my intention, at some point in the weeks to come, to continue with some day boarding, in a limited capacity.

I sincerely regret any inconvenience or disruption this may cause. Paula and I always tried to accommodate the wishes of all our clients, however challenging for us at times. However, I must be realistic in order to maintain the same, high standard of care for the dogs I look after.

I am devastated to announce that my lovely wife, Paula, passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning, surrounded by her family, from complications following a fall. Paula was a very special person and there are no words to express the degree of shock and grief we are feeling. We are stunned and heartbroken.

We are aware that our lovely clients depend on us to look after their pets and will be trying to minimise inconvenience and disruption as much as possible. However, please respect the family’s privacy at this incredibly difficult time. Boarding and day care bookings are cancelled until further notice but we will be updating everyone as soon as possible. Dogs who are currently with us should be collected as previously arranged. More information about the business will follow as soon as possible.

can you please support me if you have time to put something on this planning application RB 2023/1146
The council are wanting to change from business to commercial for the use of the field ( retrospective planning ) people misinterpreted it ( but few objections saying we’re building kennels in field were not 🙈it’s change of use the service will still be exactly same ) small scale and doggies having fun and there is minimal noise … ( we make sure)
I’m 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
( people have misunderstood and misinterpreted the planning application nothing is changing no kennels etc / our own horses will be staying in the field and nothing will change to the day to day running of brookhill pet services)
This is something been advised by rmbc to adhere to every policy and procedure ❤️

With the recent weather I try and go above and beyond dogs still have playtime and fun but we have got water outside ( hot shower ) to rinse off , shampoo and coat conditioning then into the warmth ( heating on 24/7) that’s why I’m 5 star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
