No appointments are cancelled, nobody has to pay upfront for their appointments, if you don't turn up to your appointment in the future or cancel with less than 24hrs notice then you will have to pay for the missed appointment, this is not a payment for your next booking, it is to pay for the missed slot and then a future appointment can be booked for you which will also have to be paid for on the day of grooming

Due to an increase in late cancellations and no shows for appointments we are left with no alternative but to become very strict with our no show fee policy, when you book an appointment with us you are entering into a contract that you want that specific time for your dog to get groomed, once you book your slot we cannot offer that date/time to another customer, that is our contract to you, then if you do not turn up or cancel with short notice (less than 24hrs) we don't have the time to get someone else booked in, in your place. Therefore we lose money on that particular day, this makes it very difficult especially in the current climate to pay our day to day running costs in the salon and inevitably means we go home that particular day on less than minimum wage, we simply cannot sustain this and a job becoming employed elsewhere is becoming increasingly attractive. Therefore as from Monday 1st July there will be no exceptions to this rule and the full grooming amount will need to be paid before any more appointments can be booked, if you already have appointments booked in they will be cancelled, we are sorry to have to resort to this measure but it is very much needed, we have a text system that sends out messages 48hrs before your appointment so if you cannot make it we have plenty of time to try and fill the slot, please let us know, that is what the system is used for. If you do not receive these confirmation and reminder texts please make sure we have up to date telephone numbers for you so you can start receiving them. Thankyou for your understanding in this matter
