My second Level 3 practical assessment done ✅ 2 more to go 😁. Yesterday I did my Goldendoodle Wool Mix Assessment on one of my regular walking clients and I passed!! 🥰. It was her second time going into college with me and she has loved it both times getting lots of fuss and attention from everyone! As always she was a very good girl for me 😍

Thank you so much again to her owner for letting me borrow her for my assessment ❤️

It was so good to be back with the dogs this week after the Xmas Holidays, we had lots of fun in the snow ☃️🐶❤️. This week I welcomed a new boy to the Just Like My Own Crew, he’s such a cutie 🥰

A quieter last week of walkies before Christmas 🎄❤️

⭐ A reminder to all dog walking clients that I am now off from Dog Walking Monday 23rd December- Sunday 5th January 2025. I will return to dog walking as normal from Monday 6th January 2025. Even though I will still be away on holiday please do still send me your request for the W/C Monday 6th January before 6pm the Friday prior and I will get back to you ⭐️

🎅🐱🐰 Christmas Pet Home Visits will still go ahead as planned from Sunday 22nd December PM through to Friday 27th December PM 🎅🐱🐰

It was his second time going into college with me and he has loved it both times getting to make lots of doggy pals 🐶. He was a bit of a wriggle bum on the table so I did the best I could with him moving about but I will let him off because he’s a cutie pie 😍

Everyone meet the newest addition to my family, Wybie 🤎🎪🗝️. He’s a chocolate mini lop and is a crazy, cheeky and food obsessed boy 🐰. I’ve spent the past couple weeks desensitising him to being handled, brushed, having his paws touched AND fireworks ready for New Year’s! 🎇. He’s also very clever so we’ve been working on some tricks, here’s him showing off his “spin” “high five” and “paws” 🤣

‼️ All regular dog walking clients (that have the same days & times each week) should now be aware that from Monday 9th December your payments for the week must be sent by 23:59pm on the Friday that week, instead of the current 23:59pm on Sundays.

I’m having way too many people pay late and constantly having to chase payments every week which is very time consuming, so please can regulars (that have the same days & times each week) ensure you are paying on time before the deadline of 23:59pm on Fridays to avoid late payment fees ‼️

‼️ Please can I just remind everyone that requests for the upcoming week need to be sent before 6pm the Friday prior at the latest if possible as that’s when the diary is made for the upcoming week. Bookings are accepted the week of, however that then means I have to rearrange all my diary which is why I ask that they are sent before 6pm on a Friday if possible. Also a reminder that I DON’T reply to such related messages on the weekends or in the evenings after 6pm, so if you are sending requests on the weekends/ evenings past 6pm, please note that your message won’t be replied to until the Monday (for weekend messages) and the next morning (for evening messages)‼️

Finally!! My Level 2 Certificate for Dog Grooming Assistants came, mine got lost in the system so I’ve been waiting 5 months for it 🤣. Anyways I’ve got it now and I got a Distinction 🎉🐶.

In the meantime I have been doing my Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming since September. We are now starting to move onto completing our practical assessments, however I’m in need of certain coat types and grooming styles to complete them! I will list below what I am looking for:

1. Wool Mix (COAT MUST BE GROWN OUT ENOUGH TO PERFORM A CHOSEN GROOMING STYLE): Cockerpoo, Poochon, Labradoodle, Cavapoo etc.

2. Hand Strip- Wire (COAT MUST BE IN CORRECT CONDITION FOR HAND STRIPPING): Border Terrier, Cocker Spaniel, Airedale Terrier etc.

3. Breed Standard (COAT MUST BE GROWN OUT ENOUGH TO PERFORM A BREED STANDARD GROOM): West Highland White Terrier, Scottish Terrier, Schnauzer, Poodle, Spaniel etc.

4. Drop Coat (COAT MUST BE GROWN OUT ENOUGH TO PERFORM A TEDDY BEAR GROOM): Maltese, Shih Tzu, Lhasa Apso, Yorkshire Terrier etc.

If you have any of the above dog breeds or breeds you think may fit into those categories and are happy for me to use them for my assessment (for free) please drop me a message and I can check with my tutor if your dog and their coat is suitable ☺️

🌈🐰❤️ Vinny 27.11.2018 - 08.10.2024 ❤️🐰🌈

One month ago today I had to say goodbye to my bestfriend of almost 6 years 😭💔. I got Vinny when he was 8 weeks old as a surprise present for my 14th birthday at the beginning of 2019 and he had been by my side ever since 🥰. Anybody that met Vinny loved him and couldn’t believe his personality, he literally thought he was a human! 🤣. He absolutely loved a good cuddle, following me everywhere, his teddies, helping me clean his house, helping hang the washing out, helping with the gardening (and eating the plants along the way) and of course his food, he LOVED his food, he was the greediest little boy ever and always tried stealing anything we were eating 🙊. Vinny was the most sweetest and loving rabbit I’d ever met and everybody that met him said the same. He truly was one of a kind and we are so lucky that we ended up with an angel like him 🐰❤️. He had the best life with us and was a VERY spoilt and loved boy! We all miss him so so much and the house just isn’t the same without him 😢. He is now back home with us in his final resting place on his memorial shelf 🌈🪽

I will miss you forever and always baby dog, I love you so so much 🫶🏻❤️
