Just taken dude's unused medication to Thornberry Animal Sanctuary. It was a new prescription he had so now they will benefit another little dog who gets rescued. You can take unused medication to them for their vets to issue. Also a great place to visit for donated clothes,shoes, bags, bedding,books bric a brac and animal items like leads, collars, dog beds etc.

My little dude is home. ❤️
A professional, swift and beautiful service. Dude was placed in a beautiful wicker basket and I was allowed to spend time with him . I didn't want to leave him so to have him back so quickly means everything.
I have included the business details for any owners who are considering cremation I'm available to talk about it if you want to ask anything. I wanted him cremated so no matter where life takes me , my dude will always be with me. Thank you to Westley and Natalie Wood at WJW Pet Cremation Services for your amazing service and words of kindness.

So today I've lost my best friend my little dude.
I'm beyond heartbroken 💔
You belonged to my brother before me and came to me some 13 years ago.
We have been through so much together , you chased squirrels and often took off through the woods looking up trees but we never lost you as you were always barking. You taught me so much and I learnt to leave you in peace if sleeping. Time passes so quickly and I always thought we still had more time but getting on for 20 years old or thereabouts our time was sadly running out. I have always done whatever I could to make you comfortable and sadly today both of us realised you wanted to let go.
We took a journey in the land rover like you did with my brother, the whole journey you were like a baby in my arms watching me, I stroked your little bald ears as I told you I love you. We arrived at the vets still cradled in my arms and I held you as you fell asleep.
I will miss you more than you can imagine.
Sleep tight and my brother will look after you again now until we meet again
Love you buddy 💔

Subtle signs of anxiety and dogs being uncomfortable are often missed such as yawning , turning away etc. Body language then gets more noticeable like tail tucked or crouching down. Putting more pressure on an already fearful dog and you are at risk of being attacked. Some dogs depending on their personal circumstances don't give you too much of a warning before attack.
Recognise the body language and understand what your dog is telling you.

It's friiiidaaay😀
Don't think I need to say this really but it's going to be a very hot day 28+ degrees so it's saying on my weather.
Please take dogs out early for their main walk as it will only be toilet breaks on the garden.
Important to remember
The temperature is hot but also a dog that is walking/ running/ playing is also generating heat internally by using muscles so that increases their temperature even more.
Stay safe yourself and keep your dogs safe

Simple hula hoops £1.99 with a variety of uses. Here is willow having some fun , really enjoying herself. But you can also get them sitting in the circle many possibilities. Will be using them in my upcoming training sessions . Might even have some fun making the owners work on who is the best to hula hoops🤣

The ancient one lol dude has just had his monthly check up and medication. The lovely vet Elizabeth spoilt him with treats , gave him a couple then dude gave her the look so she gave him some more lol . Always amazes me, he is doing really well at the moment 🤞❤️ next appointment august 😱 wow where is the year going.
