Manor Farm Stables & Rehab
Cold water is the key 🔑
Most tap water is approx 13 degrees, the hydrotherapy spa runs at an average of 2.9 degrees 🥶 This dramatically improves circulation & helps to reduce any inflammation or soreness.
There are 3️⃣ main symptoms of inflammation
1️⃣ - Pain
2️⃣ - Heat
3️⃣ - Swelling
Inflammation hinders the bodies natural healing process, so if there is a cut, tear or soft tissue injury it is advantageous to reduce inflammation.
Hydrotherapy spa sessions can help some of the following problems 👇🏻

💧Flesh wounds
💧Abscesses and hoof-related issues
💧Mud fever and skin infections
💧Arthritis

Cash giving 💯 this season and looking unbelievable!
Happy birthday Harv!!🎂🎂🎂
Big 10 today!💕
The lovely Cash having a couple of days Hydro to get him set up for the season ahead.
He loves his regular visits and Iam sure it plays a big part in his performance 👌🏻
Fab little trip out with the lovely Luca today 👌🏻
Super visit today from David at Voltaire, 👌🏻 great to know that my saddles are not only fitting well but also allowing my horses to improve in confidence and way of going😎
Beautiful 4yr old Mint came to us with an awful wound from a field injury. Scared and unsure to start with but he soon put his trust in us and we began his hydrotherapy treatment. Only 6 weeks later does he head home not only superbly well healed but also very well handled, educated in tack on the lines and backed . All of us at manor farm wish this special boy a full and happy showjumping life!💕
Well this year is nearly over! I would like to thank everybody involved from staff to clients and very good friends for their continued support.
I love being a part of helping horses with injuries, from vet referrals to building up fitness after time off, guiding both horse and rider through the early stages after trauma. Also, coaching combinations through the stages to succeed in their chosen disciplines. This has been the best year of all of my 11 years here at manor farm rehab.
Last year we introduced our membership scheme to enable me to help many more partnerships on their own journeys. My thought process being more on preventative measures and Wow!! This has been an overwhelming success and something I aim to continue with into 2024!
My aims and goals for next year are to bring a select few professional services together to provide a great facility for like minded people.
From saddle fitters, bitting professionals, physio and massage therapists and regular visits from expert trainers in different fields of equestrianism to run clinics for training. Our own professional team on hand providing great knowledge of rehabilitation and our excellent rehabilitation equipment to aid and maintain the best for all our horses.
That all sounds like a recipe for success which i am very proud to be a part of.
I would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy, healthy new year!
Loving the late shift with his combined therapy finishing off in the tub 🛀 🩵
All set for a full afternoon of working our magic to create balance ,rhythm, suppleness and coordination with both horse and rider 🙌
Few snippets from this week here at Manor Farm Rehab 💕

Lovely Landi, what an absolute pleasure to have with us!🥰
🧂🧂Newmarket salt therapy explained🧂🧂
⬜️Dry salt is very absorbent
⬜️it is a natural anti inflammatory, antibiotic, antibacterial and anti fungal
⬜️ is a natural antihistamine
🫁For our domesticated horses, air pollutants build up in the nasal passage and respiratory system. This can lead to all sorts of problems.
Skin problems such as sweet itch, bites and allergies or irritations can cause a lot of discomfort if not managed correctly and caught early!
Salt therapy is very easily absorbed and helps to dislodge and break down any build up of mucus in the respiratory track.Any wet on the horses lungs is absorbed by the inhalation of the salt.
Whilst the horse is in the salt chamber, the skin absorbs the salt through the pores which is a great antihistamine and if used regularly can leave an ultimate healthy shine 😎
Please drop us a message for any enquiries or to make a booking
The lovely little Poppy came in to see us today,
Full clip, salt room and hydrotherapy!!
Poppy suffers with Mallenders and also has slight sweet itch.
Our hydrotherapy is a great way to treat limb related problems and our salt room is the perfect remedy for skin problems.
I think poppy is heading home feeling much better with an outline plan in place for maintenance 😎
After a long day of teaching and dodging puddles in the arena, it’s finally drained enough to arrow and is looking great 👌🏻
Now, if it can pleassse stop raining!!💦😞
