Had the best evening last night pet sitting the three sausages Ovie, Stanley & Walter. They’ve had me laughing my head off last night they are such a funny trio! What to look out for when choosing a dog Walker!

Choosing someone to walk your dog is never an easy decision, because you want to make sure your animals are in safe hands so both you and your pets feel comfortable and happy.
Here are some top tips for things to look for when choosing someone to care for your animals!

⭐️ Insurance! One of the most important things, always make sure your chosen dog Walker is fully insured!
⭐️ Training, whether this is through online courses or 1-2-1 courses, it’s always great to make sure you are picking someone who is well trained!
⭐️ Experience, although everyone has to start somewhere, it’s always reassuring to know that you have chosen someone who is experienced handling dogs, has experience in lots of different scenarios, and has lots of knowledge on how to run a dog walking business!
⭐️ A safe vehicle! Always double check that your animals are being transported in a safe and secure way, and also always make sure this vehicle is insured to transport animals to!
⭐️ A safe and secure place to store your keys. If you are giving someone access to your house with keys, always ensure they have somewhere safe and secure to put these so you know they won’t be going missing!
⭐️ Appropriate forms. It’s extremely important you have met your chosen dog Walker prior to agreeing to any work, and with this comes all the forms! These can be anything from consent forms, to emergency contact forms, to off lead forms. Never just pass over your dog without going through all the important things!!

And lastly, trust! It’s always scary leaving your animals in the hands of someone else but with these top tips, you can make sure your mind is at ease when picking someone to care for them 🫶🏽🐶

A huge welcome back to Storm who’s a big part of Walkie Walkies & always will be, she recognised me more or less straight away.

Todays been a good 2 hour walk with Storm & Charlie on solo dog walks which has been lovely to get back into the swing of things especially with the lovely weather 🌦️🐕🐾

Hello guys, it’s been a long few months since we closed & probably one of the hardest things I ever did to say I’ve been lost would be an understatement. As you know (Julie) my mum became ill last year and we had to close the business down very fast and unfortunately due to this my mum has also decided to retire.

But… I have some hopefully great news and that is after some serious soul searching I have decided to open back up a small part of Walkie Walkies which will be dog walking, pop ins, home visits etc. Along side this I shall be also offering professional pet photography which I hope will match together perfectly. I unfortunately can not offer home boarding or doggy day care but I’m hoping with the seven years worth of experience that I have I can continue a long wonderful career in doing what I do best and that’s caring for your fur babies.

So without further delay I would now like to offer dog walking, pop ins, home visits & pet photography! It will just be myself Stacey but with all of your support it’s going to be something wonderful.
