For those who value both affordability and quality, our Economy-Fibres product is the answer. Crafted from carpet tiles made up of PP & nylon excess material, these brand new fibres are slightly darker in colour, offering functionality for both you and your horse.

This all-weather surface composition is on par with our premium options, minimising tracking and surface displacement while enhancing energy return and stability to reduce the risk of injury to your horse from working on uneven surfaces.

Beyond improving performance, this choice can extend your arena's lifespan. Thanks to its moisture-retaining qualities, our Economy-Fibres product reduces the need for frequent watering during dry spells. The moisture-retaining attributes that reduce the need for regular surface watering during dry periods helps maintain your arena surface. Ensuring that your riding surface contains adequate moisture means you will have a stable and consistent footing for your horses. We are jumping into Spring with a product alert! Our DIY ARENA KITS are back! 🌟

A well-constructed arena is crucial for your surface to perform at its best. If you are undertaking a self build project there are some essential parts of the build that you need to take into consideration.

Here at Equestrian Fibres and Surfaces we stock riding arena kits which are designed to provide all you need to construct your own outdoor arena. This kit includes, posts and three fail fencing, a 5 bar wooden field gate, woven and non-woven membrane, polyurethane adhesive and perforated drainage.

All you require to complete your arena is your own choice of hardcore and riding surface. We can supply you your own pre-mixed riding surface or the option of sand and fibres to be incorporated in situ.

Prices start from £4,250.00 + delivery and VAT - based on a 20m x 40m arena

Our high quality rubber chips range between 10-28mm and are only made from wire free canvas constructed tyres. When placed on top of silica sand, this material acts as an insulator, protecting the surface against frost during the winter and retaining essential moisture in dry conditions ❄️☀️

This sub angular shape allows the rubber chipping to compact to prevent your surface from riding deep. This rubber chipping will also absorb shock-impact and provide a highly responsive and cushioned ride 🐎

The common problem with just having silica sand as a surface in its own right is the surface ‘rides deep’. This causes your horse to work into the surface rather than on top ☹️

Silica sand surfaces require the addition of synthetic fibres to provide binding and stability in every ride 🐎🐎🐎
