🥰 What an amazing 5 star ⭐️ review we’ve got after our most recent main guest Sophie stayed and also got married 🎩 👰‍♀️ at the putting green, near Rothesay Fountain for their micro wedding. Needless to say, she looked stunning 🤩

A testament to the extremely hard work we’ve put in to ensure this property is the best and most cost effective largest holiday let 🏡 on the island 🥳

Our new external patio area 🥳

Thanks to Bute Quarries & Readymix - Ambrisbeg ltd (Stewart) for sorting installation so promptly, given they were up against the weather too.

Our guests can now enjoy a sheltered external area, whilst enjoying the fresh outdoors 🍷 🥂 🍺 🍱 (and the Hot Tub too) 😊. Warm white fairy lights to be added to complete the experience.

Evening All,

As of Friday 29th July 2022, Argyle Guest House will be run under new management.

Its very evident from all the comments and the feedback from the local community, that Michael & Eddie clearly put their loving stamp on the property, business and local environment - we clearly have our work cut out to establish such a fan base as they have done so.

That said, its only new beginnings for this fabulous property on the magical Isle of Bute. For those that do not know, the property will no longer be run as a B&B, more so a self-catered property rented out as a whole, that will now boast a sleep 21 accommodation, which will also have a newly installed whirlpool bath hot tub in the rear garden, for those of you that fancy a dip. Your lovely family pets are also welcome to stay too

Once again, we wish Michael & Eddie all the best in their retirement and I for one will be gate crashing them in sunnier climates for sure, as we feel we have made a new pair of friends with these two lovely characters 😎 XxX

Well that's my last breakfasts cooked and the very last of our lovely guests have checked out.
The doors are now officially closed until the new owners take over and put all their exciting plans into place.
We have had a wonderful experience over the last few years and would like to thank each and everyone of you who helped us create the amazing business that Argyle Guest House became.
We are both looking forward to retirement and spending time in sunnier climates.

ATTENTION TO ALL

As of the 16th July, Argyle Guest House will stop being a guest house. Michael and I (Eddie) have sold the business and and will the property will not be run as a guest house.

The new owners have major plans for the property so keep an eye on both the page and website for what the future holds for Argyle House to which it will change to.

Booking via 3rd parties ie Booking.com, Expedia or other site will ALWAYS be more expensive as they charge a huge amount of commission which is a huge costly addition to our own base rate.

As always and ongoing, we thoroughly look forward to seeing both our Regular AND New customers from all over the world !

REMEMBER…….We’re dog friendly and ONLY charge £20 each for their stay. (Not per night) and we’re one of the only accommodations on the island that accepts dogs.
