A huge thank you to all my wonderful customers for your support today—it means the world to me! Special thanks to Sandra for helping me open up and checking in throughout the day—you’re a star.

The shop is well-stocked with unique UK brands for people pets and homes you won’t find on the High Street—perfect gifts for your loved ones (or a treat for yourself!). We’re also pet-friendly, so bring your furry friends along!

Yet again, you’ve all shown so much understanding and patience, and I am so grateful to each and every one of you. I’ll be closing the shop at 5 PM today to rest and make sure I have the strength to welcome you all again tomorrow.

Pain levels permitting, I’ll try to keep the shop open for some late-night shopping over the next few days so we can all share in the Christmas cheer together.

🌟 A Massive Thank You! 🌟

To all my lovely customers, friends, and family—this weekend has left me feeling completely overwhelmed with gratitude. Running a small business isn’t easy, but it’s moments like these that remind me why I do it.

Firstly, a huge thank you to Dan and Cindy, who selflessly gave up their weekend to open the shop for me. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to me.

To the lovely customer who sent me chocolate and a beautiful plant—you truly brightened my week. It’s those small acts of kindness that make such a big difference.

To everyone who has visited, messaged, checked in, and made me drinks—your support has been nothing short of incredible. I feel so special and so fortunate to be surrounded by such a caring community.

And an extra special mention to John, Oscar, Olivia, and Lofty, who have been there every single day helping Dan with the animals, no matter the weather. Your dedication and hard work do not go unnoticed, and I can’t thank you enough.

I’m not normally one to share personal things on social media, but this experience has made me realize that sometimes it’s best to ask for help and to talk. If opening up encourages even one person who’s going through a hard time to see they’re not alone, then it’s worth it. This community is amazing and so supportive, and I feel so lucky to be part of it.

Being a small, independent retailer comes with its own unique challenges. Competing with big companies that have massive budgets, huge teams, and endless resources can feel overwhelming at times. But I’ve made a conscious choice to stay true to my values:
✨ Supporting UK brands.
✨ Partnering with other small businesses.
✨ Keeping my prices fair so you can enjoy luxury products without breaking the bank.
✨ Offering a personal, friendly service where you see the same face and build a genuine connection.

However, what many people don’t realize is that when you’re self-employed and work alone, if you can’t make it to work, you don’t earn. Over the past few days, being unable to work due to health issues has been incredibly stressful—both financially and emotionally.

For those who don’t know, I’ve been dealing with slipped and bulging discs in my back, which has made walking and working almost impossible. On top of that, I care for my horses, ducks, dog, and my grandmother, who has been very poorly these past few months and lives almost 1hour away. It’s been a lot to manage, but your encouragement has kept me going.

As Christmas approaches, if you’d like to support me, I don’t need gifts or sympathy. What I truly appreciate is:
❤️ Sharing my business page with your friends and family.
❤️ Visiting the shop when we’re open, whether I’m there or one of my wonderful volunteers.
❤️ Ordering products through me instead of large companies.

Every purchase, every share, and every kind word makes a difference—not just to my business, but to my heart.
