PLEASE SHARE! Let's find out, how much the Council have spent trying to close a Community Cafe that you all want to stay open ? WHY are they not working with us when solutions have been found ? Especially in this economic climate! NOT ONE person has stepped through my cafe door or met our Road Guy (40 yrs in local authority) offering SOLUTIONS, apart from Enforcement. SO WHY? WHY to a Cafe providing placements, list of other free resourses and 13 jobs. I was speaking to Council before building cafe for adult services to use our Cafe, continuing the work I did in plant business since 2009. ITS TIME TO ASK WHY AND HOW MUCH!

I hope this email finds you well. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request information regarding the total costs incurred by Gateshead Council in its efforts to close the Fed and Watered café.

Specifically, I am seeking:

The total legal fees related to this matter.
Administrative costs or any other associated expenses.

Costs incurred across all relevant departments, including (but not limited to) planning, legal, and enforcement teams.

Please provide a breakdown of costs, as well as the total expenditure for ALL departments and third parties involved.

I look forward to your response within the statutory 20 working days. If you require further clarification or have any questions regarding this request, please do not hesitate to contact me.
