OOOOhhhhhhhh, it seems like the baby boom is well under way! They are a bit like buses LOL you don't see one for ages and then two come along at once.
After our litter that was born on Friday, these little stunners were born yesterday to a semi feral mom who, if it hadn't been for the rescue taking her in as an emergency she would have been having her babies outside...with the temperatures dropping and a possible -3 degrees tonight this little family was very, very lucky that the momma found a space and had her babies in the warm.

One of the hardest things in rescue is to have reports of animals in trouble, to be begged for help and have you hands tied by inadequate laws regarding the way innocent creatures can be kept.
This happened to us. After an appeal went out on a Facebook group asking if anyone could help (FREE THE NIMMINGS FOUR) 4 dogs being kept in filthy, disgusting conditions in a garden in Nimmings Road, Halesowen. The property had a yard where 4 dogs were kept in squalor and the amount of excrement on the floor was unbelievable, the bowl of water filthy and the dogs had little escape from the heat of the past couple of weeks.

Many people contacted the RSPCA, the police and even Dudley Council but due to the fact the dogs had shelter, water and were regularly fed as per the requirements of the law, not a lot could be done.
A petition was started and over 24 thousand people signed it showing support for these poor dogs.
The frustration of the people in the immediate area and further afield was understandable and the rising anger at the seemingly lack of results was growing daily.
But behind the scenes things were slowly moving and TAH was there to help Jessie, Sharu Tyson and Fifa (although Fifa had been removed from the house at some point and wasn't there).
Two days ago (Monday July 26), Lin and Carys raced to the property whilst Sarah rushed to get the animal ambulance and then along with the police and after a lot of negotiating, the dogs were relinquished to us and all the relevant paperwork signed to enable us to remove the dogs from the property and into our care.
Sometimes in such volatile situations, it is necessary to oil the wheels and all 4 dogs were sold to the animal house for £2000

After all 4 were signed over and taken to safety, along with the police again yesterday (Tuesday 27th) we went back and fetched the last dog, Fifa out of there.
Sheru is a fun loving young lad who lives for playing with toys, Tyson is just happy to be able to do zoomies around our exercise field but can get a little over zealous and then doesn't know what to do with himself and will nip so is currently wearing a muzzle whilst we work on that bit but who can blame him when the poor boy has had nothing done with him and he has sooo much pent up energy, Jessie just wants cuddles and kisses and more cuddles and kisses. Fifa the older girl has gone to the groomers as she is full of dead hair and needs a bath once done she will go into foster as she needs it the most. We are still looking for foster for Sheru and Jessie. Tyson is not ready to go to foster yet.
We have to say a mahoosive thank you to the people that started the petition to save these dogs who have also set up a Go Fund me page to help us recoup the money spent getting the dogs to safety .....

Also to Halesowen police who were outstanding and to Environmental Health, Dudley council ASB officers, local councillors and the RSPCA who have all been involved.
