You may never have seen behind the consultation room in a veterinary practice.

This film portrays a day in the life of small animal, equine, exotics and farm vets and nurses in first opinion, referrals and out-of-ours practices we are linked to.

So take a look at the work our vets and nurses do on the front line every day to look after animals in veterinary practices, hospitals, in the field and on call- so that they receive the best possible care.

Thanks to Molly Case for the poem you have written about our profession.

We had the pleasure of seeing two very rare breeds in the last few weeks!

Firstly we have Duke who is a Chinese Red or also known as a Laizhou Hong. Just look at those stunning ears 😍😍Duke was such a good boy, and enjoyed all the fuss he got from the nursing team.

And secondly we have lovely Gandalf, who is a Coton de Tulear. This breed of dog is from Madagascar and is descended from a number of dogs who survived a shipwreck. Gandalf was super brave following a fracture repair, and loved all the cuddles he got from the nurses too! 🥰

What rare breeds have you seen? Let us know!

Here we have the lovely Dash who's running into the weekend!
