Today was a big day for the club - huge congratulations to Jasper, Boots, Effy and Ember who passed their Kennel Club Gold Good Citizen Dog Scheme assessment. A lovely bunch of dogs and amazing owners 😊

It was a day of mixed emotions …….

The beautiful Reg is taking early retirement after joining the club over 10 years as one of the founding members when we first started.

No matter what the weather conditions, Sue would rock up with Reg, bringing a ray of sunshine to the class and inject enthusiasm into everything that was carried out. The introduction of the use of Primula cheese was always a favourite in Reg’s training together with an endless supply of Schmacko’s!

Over the past few years, Sue’s granddaughter Ella would join in and the relationship was amazing to watch. To see someone so passionate about training, the learning and just getting involved at such a young age was great to see.

Reg will be missed loads by everyone (I have a soft spot for this dog) - take it easy, enjoy your retirement and you are always welcome back anytime 🐶

This course has not been advertised and quickly filled up, however we have had someone cancel so a limited space is available.

Why not treat your dog to an early Xmas present - learn something fun, rewarding and addictive.

Shelby has had a busy Sunday - long walk up at the Heath, a play date with 9 week old Brunel, helped clean out the van and now catching a few winks due to the clocks going back …….

Back home from an amazing week away with The College Of Scent Dogs Ltd doing what I love about all things dog training.

We are now officially a Trailing Dog Handler and Instructor - new courses will be released soon once I’ve settled back home and catch up with a mountain of paperwork!

A big thank you to everyone last week - great memories are made when you are surrounded by amazing people!
