Bit of a delayed post but last Friday we had the pleasure of a visit from Keith Williamson from TT Canine based in Goole.
Had a fantastic and enjoyable day and it shows everyday can be a learning day for trainers as well the owner and dog.
What I personally got out of the day was how much information you can gain from stepping back and watching the owner and dog more closely.
When training close up we miss alot of tiny things that last for a second that could hinder what we are trying to acheive.
So my advice is if you have the chance of getting a good trusted trainer in for the day take that chance, take it in turns to step back and compare what you see and discuss it. You will be greatly surprised at what you can gain from it.
So a massive thank you to Keith for coming and I hope this is something we can do again very soon.

Good morning all.
I get asked quite frequently what Per Ardua means.
It is Latin for "Through Adversity".
I thought it fitting to name the company Per Ardua for two reasons, the first being that I served in the Regiment and secondly the phrase Through Adversity gives meaning to the fact that I will do anything in my power to help all the dogs and their owners I come across no matter the situation, even when things are tough I will come up with a solution to NEVER give up on a dog.
As the poster states I have some great workshops coming up so watch this space.
Hopefully see you on the Training Field soon.

All that was required from Ben and Brogan was the static "Middle" position in preparation for 360 handler protection.
Ben's passion and work ethic to get the best out of his training is out of this world.

Blue doing recall on variable reward with his Nemesis 20 metres away. Two off lead Staffies running with their owner. Bit of a delay in the recall which is my bad as probably put too many treats down to get distance from him.
