Tyson just wants all the love ❤️ #terrier #doggrooming #puppylove
There’s always time to play after a groom #doglover #doggroomer #doggroominglife #playtime
This is a video for those with cockapoos/bichons (anything with a fluffy, rounded head) and it goes through scissoring the head.
It also talks about trimming the ears safely for any breed. I wish I had a cockapoo to model for you, but I don’t unfortunately! I hope this helps though.
For those of you not currently able to take your dog to a groomers, here is a video on maintaining your dogs coat at home. I will also be adding a video on cockapoo faces and trimming ears, plus some pictures for nail trimming.
Not all groomers do it this way, these are just some ideas to help you out at home. I also missed a lot of information out but didn’t want to overwhelm you! The video already seemed long enough 😂
If you want to skip to certain parts of the video, here is a breakdown:
1.20: equipment breakdown
2.45: brushing out your dog
6.20: using a matt breaker
10.30: using bull-nosed scissors

11.50: trimming paw pads
14.35: scissoring front legs
15.05: using thinning scissors
