Thank you so much to my lovely clients and making my dream work out so well ❤️❤️ I’m currently fully booked until 23rd July however of if I get any cancellations I will post up slots. I will be reducing my hours over the summer holidays to take care of my son and enjoy some family time so may possibly be taking new clients in September!
Well what a day! Van went to the garage yesterday and still isn’t home. Better to be safe that sorry so massive apologies to those I’ve had to reschedule and hopefully tomorrow I will be back on track. Until then enjoy these faces from the first part of this week!

Thank you to my lovely customers this week supporting my business venture. From supplies of tea and biscuits to customers overjoyed because their big dog is finally happy being groomed. Not long got home from a busy day and my phone rings, it’s a very good friend.
‘can I ask you something’.
She never asks anything of me so I’m a bit worried.
‘You know the pups’ she says ‘I’m worried that if anything happens to me they will end up getting split up. I know it’s a lot to ask but can I put you in my will to look after them just in case?’
I laughed and said of course but these are the things we often don’t think about. What would happen to our dogs?
I have seen dogs at Hilbrae Pets Hotel and Stray Kennels grieving for their owners as no one could take them, cuddled up in the corner, angry and confused. It’s heartbreaking and I would encourage everyone to think about this and make some provision for them
So I want to introduce you all to my god dogs Doris and Gloria the Newfoundland pups. You will also get to see them grow as I groom them regularly as well ❤️❤️
So today is the day I leave my comfortable full time employment of 15 years to do what makes me happy! Big dog baths is now FULL TIME!!! Thank you to all my customers over the past few months that have made me realise that I can do this and what’s more I SHOULD be doing this.
So I’m happy, scared, excited and did I mention scared? 😂😂

Had a lovely couple of hours with this boy today!! Caucasians can be so difficult to groom as their coats are so thick and they are super stubborn. Lucky this boys owners keep on top of his coat so there was minimal knots ❤️

This is pips! He is a young Westie type who came to Hilbrae Pets Hotel and Stray Kennels as a stray. It transpired that his owner had passed away. Pups had some knots in his fur and a few fleas and desperately needed a spa day and some cuddles. I treated his fleas and took my time clipping and trimming him. PIps loved the attention and has even bagged himself a wonderful new home. Well done pips and thank you to The Dogs Paddocks Market Drayton for sponsoring this groom ❤️❤️
This is Winnie the beautiful Newfoundland. I groomed her first a few months ago and now she’s back for her summer shed. Winnie is just over a year old and turning into a real beauty. She lives the shower but hates the table so the majority of the groom took place on the floor. Please send donations of massages for my back 😂😂❤️

Huge shoutout to Willow Home Care LTD who have come to our rescue and will be covering majority of the cost of our Carnival Parade.
This means that YES YES YES the "2023 Market Drayton Willow Homecare Carnival Parade" will be going ahead on Saturday 15th July.
We are still on the look out for additional entries to the parade. Do you own a vintage vehicle or tractor? Are you part of a sports or dance group that could walk in our parade? Do you want to create an float for our parade? Are you part of a marching band who would play for us?

I can feel mali week coming on!!! Quinnie and Roxy who are at Hilbrae Pets Hotel and Stray Kennels had a play date yesterday in the woods. Roxy is only 4 months old so it was so sweet to see her run with quinnie who is 10 months old and learn how to play. After a while we got rolo out who is a GSD x Mali and has been in kennels for a while now. he’s just coming up to 1 year old and tends to be dog reactive but as Roxy poses him no threat we wanted to see how it would go, well we couldn’t have wished for better. Rolo just ignored her and played ball whilst Roxy was so taken with him just staring and watching him play, retrieve, sit and do his normal dog stuff ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I didn’t take any videos as I was hyper alert just in case but they melted my heart. It seemed to really pick rolo up too having that time out. All 3 are up for adoption, please share so we can get them some interest. Malis are notoriously difficult to entertain but easy to train. They need an active household and not to be left alone for long periods. Trust me 😂😂😂 sit back and enjoy the footage ❤️❤️
