If not, you have just over 9 weeks to get it done, or face a fine of £500! 😳

I can visit your cat at home - saving the dreaded battle with the pet carrier! 🤭 and microchip them there. It’s just like an injection into the scruff at their neck.

I only charge £10 to you, then you’ll need to pay £2.99 to the microchip company to register the chip number to yourself. The company I chose to partner with only charges you this once on registration, allowing you to make unlimited changes to your details (if you change your phone number or move home etc) for no further fee.

My microchips & scanner have arrived this week, meaning I’m all ready to go ✅

An appointment to have one implanted to your pet will cost £10 per pet.
There’s then a £2.49 admin fee payable direct to PetScanner to register your details to their database. This small fee allows you to update your details whenever you like, free of additional charges ☺️

📅 The countdown is on – from 10 June 2024 all pet cats over 20 weeks old must be microchipped and registered on a compliant database.

🐾 Microchipping is the quickest and most effective way of ensuring lost pets can be identified. Animals that are microchipped are more than twice as likely to be reunited with their owners.

Continuing with the ‘bully breed’ theme, I was invited to meet the beautiful Mavis yesterday 🐶💕
She was very nervous of having her feet touched, but with lots of encouragement & treats, we got there! She was still happy to be friends afterwards, which is always a bonus! ☺️

🐾 “XL Bullies” 🐾

Just to let everyone know, I am more than happy to visit these types of dogs!
My insurance covers me, and in my experience, the vast majority are big softies! 💕
(They’re often big wimps when it comes to having anything done to them! 🤭)

I appreciate that it must be so hard at the moment with this new legislation preventing you from taking them places etc, so please be assured that I can definitely help you if you’d like 💕

Gio & Juniper were star patients for me today! 🤩 Both allowed me to trim their nails with minimal fuss or wrestling! I was warned ahead that June was very nervous, but after some time making friends, she rolled over for a belly rub & let me hold her paws whilst she was upside down! 🤭 that was a first for me! ☺️

This cute little chap is Yoda, who I met yesterday for a nail trim 💕
He has somewhat wonky toes which means his nails don’t wear on the floor when he goes for walks. He was quite the drama queen during trimming 🎭🤭 but thanks to a super strong hold by his mum, we got there 😮‍💨 and I’m sure he’ll be much happier with his shorter nails ☺️

This beautiful boy is Zander 🐶 who I was invited to meet yesterday. He was full of the wiggles & very excited to meet me, until it came to cutting his nails, which he was suddenly very worried about 🥺 However, with copious amounts of treats & some crawling around on the floor, we got there in the end! 💕

Here’s a photo from Friday evening as promised! 📸
I was invited to meet Toby and his new little sister Zeka 🐶🐶
Zeka is a rescue beagle & was very, very fearful of me as a new human, she didn’t trust me at all. It’s sad to think what must’ve happened to her to make her this way 😔 However, she’s enjoying her best life now, she’s in beautiful condition & is very loved 🥰
I eventually snipped all of her nails thanks to a lot of encouragement, liver paste, strong cuddles from her mum & some patience!
Toby was very cheeky, helping himself to the treat pocket in my new bag 💼🤣 he only needed his front nails trimming, so definitely had more than one treat per paw! 🤭

This very photogenic dog is Romeo, the Doberman, who I was invited to meet last week for a nail clip. He was quite scared owing to an unfortunate experience during a previous nail clipping, but with lots of peanut butter & encouragement, we got there in the end! 🥜

Having owned rabbits myself for over 30 years & having always been ‘the bunny lady’ in practices I’ve worked at, I have lots of experience grooming/de-matting rabbits and ‘de-gum’ing their bottoms when they get dirty.

I have finished off this week meeting three more dogs 🐶;
• Kobe the fluffy Chihuahua - who couldn’t decide whether he wanted to lick or bite my hand! 🤷🏻‍♀️ but happily took treats from me after his clip 😋
• Axel the Pug - who also chose violence a few times, but his face shape saved me from any actual injury 🤭 and was generally a lovely boy,
• Andy the Lurcher X - who told me off a number of times, but was generally a very brave old man 💕
