🥇 Great week over in 🇨🇮 with Gun Law in the 4*L and Cooley Rocco & Fernhill Derry Girl in the 2*L. Gun Law was on great form all week and pulled it out the bag to jump a clear on the last day in the most horrendous conditions to win the 4*Long 🏆. Theilled for owners Nicki & Victor Lay who have been such a huge supporters for a very long time. Really excited for next season when he will be aimed at 5* 💪. Wouldn’t be possible without the best support team, Massive thank you to for looking after the horses all week and and for keeping the show on the road at home and for keeping horses feeling tip top!

The young guns were on great form at the incredible What an amazing event to expose the young horses to crowds and atmosphere!! We took 7 horses and all put in solid performances. Some will now be going on holiday and some move onto their autumn internationals. Massive thanks to for looking after the horses at Cornbury and and for holding the for at home ‘A Team’ 💪 Cornbury also such a great eventing for all of our very supportive owners with brilliant owners hospitality!

Busy day yesterday in the BYEH class We took 6 young horses all of which were on great form! We managed to secure 2 tickets to the BYEH final 🌟 with 4 YO FGF Vino and 5 YO Coltender Cuise.

Gun Law and MSH Bonanza both owned by longstanding owners Nicky and Victor Lay were on great from at Aston le Walls in the 4*. Both boys pulled out PB tests at the level. Bono had one rail SJ followed by a very professional XC round, Mars jumped his usual clear SJ and then a speedy XC round to finish 9th out of the nearly 80 starters. Big thank you to for turning the boys out beautifully and for holding the fort at home.

Belated post from a successful trip to Oxtalls BE with the younger horses. Highlights included a smart DC for new ride 5YO, Elvis the King HD owned by in his ever event, and both Coltender Cruise owned by and Lux Cool owned by finishing in 🥈 We are very grateful to our owners for allowing us to produce such an exciting bunch of young horses!

6 YO Bazaars Barbs owned by Angela Stretton notching up another Novice DC at Berkshire College. He’s a big powerful horse that is just staring to strengthen up and come together. He’s a really exciting horse for the future 💪

Great week spent over in 🇨🇮 Gun Law owned by Nicki and Victor Lay put in another solid performance in his first 4* Long, handling the testing ground conditions and twisty course amazingly well never missing a beat. Cooley Rocco owned by Joss Rosenberg just added one expensive pole to his smart Dr test to finish 11th in the YH 2* short. Top travelling companion also put in an awesome performance with a DC in the Nations Cup 🇬🇧. It was a very different feel at this years event being the first international since loosing Georgie at Bicton the week before, she very much was, and will continue to be in our thoughts as we carry on with the sport she loved 💜🤍

The young horses were on great form again at Shelford having been out for a second weekend on the trot after they moved up to BE100 at Aston. ⭐️ Coltender Cruise owned by Simon and Fiona Blake put in another professional performance to finish on his Dr score again for 2nd on the back of a 4th at Aston ⭐️ Maytine Miracle Man owned by John and Charlie Brook finishing 8th at Shelford with a couple of poles SJ on the soft ground, having jumped a double clear at Aston to finish 3rd. ⭐️ New ride Mystic Candy owned by Jocelyn Rosenberg again finished on her DR score for 4th on the back of a 5th at Aston. She moved up to Novice next time out.

Big thank you to for putting on a replacement fixture at such short notice. Both 6 YO’s Bazaars Babs and Tara’s Tale having to come straight out at Novice due to earlier runs being cancelled handling the very grown up XC track like pro’s! Tally continued her career DC streak 7 from 7 👍

Groom or Working Pupil Position.

We are a top level, family run Competition Yard with a range of horses from 4YO’s to 5* based near Rugby in Warwickshire.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, fun and motivated person to joint our existing team.

The role would involve the day to day care of an exciting string of competition horses with all the usual yard duties.

There would be the opportunity to groom at some one day events and shows.

We would consider someone wanting flexible working hours, however ideally this would be a full time role working 5.5 days a week, with 28 days holiday. Good rates of pay plus NI and pension contributions.

On site accommodation available if required and the opportunity to bring your own horse and receive training. We would also consider someone looking for a non riding position.
