There has been a recent GOV.UK update concerning the selling of fake flea products online .
It appears to be Frontline and Pro-Nephra has been noted.

Packaging features spelling mistakes and mixed languages

Pet owners should check the packaging and always be cautious of third-party sellers when shopping on e-commerce sites for any type of pet medication.

The IPO and VMD are offering advice for consumers to help spot fake animal medicines, and what to do if they believe they may have purchased them or seen them offered for sale.

🪺‼️Easter Emergencies ‼️🪺
Please avoid leaving these following things around your pets:
❌Hot Cross Buns - these contain raisins and other dried fruits which cause kidney failure in both dogs and cats!
❌🍫Chocolate - this contains a toxin called Theobromine, a chemical found in plants used in the chocolate manufacture. Dogs find it very hard to metabolise this chemical and therefore can have detrimental effects!
❌💐Easter Flowers - Lillies are toxic to cats and daffodils are poisonous to dogs and cats! Every part of the lily and daffodils are toxic, even the water they are sat in!
Amaryllis and tulips are also very dangerous to your pets and could cause severe stomach upset and even breathing difficulties!

The first-ever year-long systemic flea and tick protection injection for dogs!

🐾One injection that last 12 months!
🐾The injection uses a new, breakthrough crystal formulation of an active ingredient called fluralaner which is the same active ingredient in the chews and spot-on treatment!
