Happy birthday Hetty 4 today! My little girl with big emotions.
Following on from the scentwork post, I decided to introduce Hetty to a car Search, she just did not understand why I wasn't just opening the door for her to jump in! A bit of generalisation with items she is already familiar with, some toy searches/pairing with odour & bingo the little girl got it!!
Just to show a snapshot before the individual exercises began. Look at all the different breeds we have. They did well.
I gave Di & Winnie some homework.. gold stars all round!
Look at Maisey - a proper little sweetheart! Teamwork with Arthur the Skunk & Suzie the tortoise checking for Christmas goodies.
Fridge being suitably locked & bolted in future. Thank you David Entwistle & Linda Brandwood.
Dottie hasn't done any scent work uk training for ages & her last trial was pre-covid, we have been concentrating her nose on mantrailing which is a new skill for me, rubbish weather days are perfect for Scentwork UK . She did 4 perfect finds. Here is her first one!
Dottie loves her mantrailing!
Baxter having fun in the sun!
Caitlyn & Logan working on 'bringing the washing in' next stage could he put it in a washing basket?
Winnie is advanced and can place the socks on the washing line - this trick will grow, can she pass pegs to mum? Di will add more to it Im sure.
This is from a trick I saw Jenny Edwards teaching (thank you Jenny for your post) for Benji its helping his rerieve massively.
There seems to be lots of ticks around at the moment folks. A couple of people have asked me about the tick twiddlers I recommend. Here you go a little vid.
