When you're away from home without your Dog and you don't want to use Kennels, we offer a great alternative. They come to stay in our homes and live as our family pets along side our own dogs and family, enjoying lots of walks, cuddles and affection! Looking at the weather for the next few days it’s going to be hot!

All walks are going to be done early and cut to 30 min or changed to Home visits. We all carry water and will be walking in shaded areas. Walks may start from as early as 9am.

Your handler will be in contact to let you know what is happening with your booking.

Today is going to be even hotter and earlier in the day!

Any walks happening will be done first thing to avoid the heat, done in woodlands in the shade and near water if possible.

All our handlers carry water for the dogs and if any point we feel the need to cut walks short or change to visits we will do.

Thank you to everybody for being so understanding regarding us changing walks to visits or making your dogs walks shorter than usual or earlier in the day.

The weather is looking to stay until at least Wednesday so we will continue to follow our warm weather policy and do the best thing for your pet.

It’s not a welcome to the team but a welcome back…… we’re so glad to have Ange join the team again

I joined the Creature Comforts Cheshire team in 2018 after working in retail for 20years. After a 2 1/2 year break I'm thrilled to be back and can't wait to meet my new furry friends. I have many years experience as a fellow pet owner myself. Dogs, cats, rats, fish and hamsters having been members of our family.
I live in Runcorn with my husband Rick and Ellie our rescue cat.

Today was every dog walkers worst nightmare. Peanut was off lead playing with his friends when he got spooked and bolted. As a company we followed procedures and quickly started the search for him. With help and advice from Donna Ryan we knew he was most likely hiding until he felt comfortable to come to us. After a while he came out of hiding and spooked again. With help from members of the public we had a location and Paul (Gemma’s husband) managed to track him with them both running (Paul from a distance) and with the help of a lift from Nu home improvements ltd he managed to get ahead of him and change his direction to a safer spot. Thank you also to the gentleman and his car who Gemma commandeered for a lift to Peanuts location. Peanut then took shade alongside some bushes and we stayed our distance until his mum arrived. As soon as he heard his mum he knew he was safe and went to her. I am so so proud of our team and how quickly we all responded today. It shows how much of a good team we are and truly how much we love your pets as our own. Apologies to the other clients affected today, your understanding is appreciated. A big thanks also goes out to all the public that pointed us in the right direction, everybody that kept an eye out for him whilst going about their day, APEC Taxi's - Runcorn for their drivers looking for us, Runcorn Pets Lost & Found for all their advice and help and every body else who helped (apologies if I’ve missed anybody). As a team we are now home with our families (having a drink or two🤣) and looking forward for normal business to resume tomorrow. Peanut is sleeping off his adventure ready for his next walk with us - which will be on lead 😉 P.s yes that is me crying in the background with pure relief 🥲 Thanks again to everybody, Gemma and the team xx

Luna’s mum contacted us to help try and build her confidence away from mum. She’s had a couple of walks with us now and today she met with Mara, Gemma’s resident dog, to have a play and gain confidence with us off lead. She did great and think it’s safe to say she’s definitely building her confidence
