We would just like to take a moment to thank all our clients who have been so kind and understanding recently with Vikki’s health complications.
As some of you may know we unfortunately had to make the tough decision to cancel some appointments for the safety and well-being of your dogs, while we wish we could keep everyone in it would not be fair on your pets!
The girls are working extra this month to ensure we can still squeeze as many in as possible 🫶

We hope for vikki to make a full recovery and return to work in the new year where she will be back and determined as ever to committing her days caring for your pups🤍

Meet Bailey ✨ We wanted to introduce Bailey and tell you a little bit about him and why Medication for dogs should never be feared !! Bailey came to us as a puppy and his owners done everything right, getting him groomed from a puppy, regular appointments ect however due to medical related problems and surgeries Bailey very quickly became very untrusting. This made his grooming experience very negative for him. He was very anxious, timid and at times aggressive because it was the only way he could express his fear to us. We knew Bailey from a young age so we knew this was not the real him but just a reflection of his fear from being in pain in the past with medical conditions unrelated to his groom. We tried 3 weekly grooming appointments, just bath and drys but Bailey could not get rid of his stress and worry. So we decided to speak with Baileys Vet at our wonderful practice. We were able to come up with a solution between us, his Vet and Baileys parents. The passed few grooms now Bailey has had medication administered by his parents before his groom. As you can see from this video he has learnt to trust us and even gives us a cheeky little kiss throughout the groom now. As you can also see he’s still alert and sprightly, just a lot more calm and the groom is such a better experience for him.This is just one reason why we love working alongside our vets. We are able to discuss behaviours and come up with solutions that mean your pets are comfortable with us.Whilst Baileys situation is not common, usually we can win over a pets trust after a few visits, we will always be honest with our clients and let you know if your pets are having a negative experience and will always work with you as their owner Of course we could choose to groom Bailey without medication but we and his parents feel that he is a lot happier, Calmer and safer this way. This means we are not pushing him passed his threshold just to be able to complete a groom. We are able to now do it
