🏥 VIKKI IS OUT OF SURGERY 🏥
We thought we would do a post as a few of our lovely clients have asked after Vikki and wished her well.
As some of you may know and for those that don’t Vikki’s health took a bad turn and she had to be hospitalised for 9 days leading to Vikki having to have an operation. Surgery had some complication’s and Vikki also found a few more health problems that she is currently trying to wrap her head around herself before opening up about it all but for now the surgery went well and we are hoping for a full recovery with recovery period lasting for a month.

💔 Nobody is more devastated that Vikki will not be grooming over Christmas than Vikki herself! Grooming your precious pets brings Vikki so much joy and happiness and Christmas time is her most favourite time of the year. We know how utterly disappointing this all is but we are so grateful for such wonderful and understanding customers. The response we have got from some of you has been heart warming. 🩷

Hi, I’m Mimi. I heard that today is ‘Black Friday’. I’m not totally sure what this means (because I’m a cat!), but it sounds like today, us black cats might finally get some celebration! 🐈‍⬛

Today might be my chance to show off my gorgeous, shiny black coat and find my forever home.

On average, black cats take longer to find homes than others. I’m not sure why, because we’re full of love, and affection, and are terribly beautiful.

My foster carer says that Black Friday is a day where humans are on the hunt for good deals, and bargains. Which is great because maybe someone will decide to adopt me. I don’t cost a lot to adopt, and I’m flea and worm treated, vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. So that’s a bargain if you ask me!

WELCOME TO OUR NEW REAR IN-PATIENTS ENTRANCE 🤩

When you arrive for an operation or day procedure please come to this entrance (accessed from Saffron road/doctors car park behind us)

Please press the silver doorbell, the door will open for you, please take a seat inside where you will be greeted. If you have a dog please weigh him/her on the scales provided and inform the nurse today’s bodyweight.

When you come to collect your pet, please also come to this entrance again take a seat and we will come to you in the waiting area shortly.

Thank you so much for all your patience whilst the building works have been going on!

**PLEASE BE AWARE AND SHARE!**
Ash has gone missing from the gardens around Upper George Street and Stanwick Road in Higham Ferrers. She was spooked by the fireworks and has not come home.
Please keep your eyes peeled and if you find a lost guinea pig, please pop her down to us!

Fridays are relaxing- Jessie definitely seems to think so! Here she is resting after her spay.
When dogs are neutered, it is importantly they are strictly rested for up to 10 days. This is to allow the wound to have plenty of time to heal.
Be like Jessie and keep resting!

Vet Lottie finally popped last week and welcomed beautiful baby boy 💙 Archer 💙 we are all missing her and wishing her lots of love (doesn’t she look beautiful here and not at all like she just had a baby??!! 🤣) congratulations Lottie xx

❤️🎉 CONGRATULATIONS SHANNON 🎉❤️

We have waited a very long time to be able to say our dear beloved Shannon is now an RVN registered veterinary nurse!!!!

Shannon has worked so so hard, having started the course in 2020 and had to overcome lots of personal challenges to get to this point. We are SO PROUD of her for finally passing all her exams and earning her qualification. We knew you could do it Shan! ❤️

7 year old Allie won our Bark in the Park drawing competition this week. Her design of “Rescue Vets” vet practice was our winning entry. Here she is collecting her prize of the vet play set. Well done Allie!
