Well it’s been a day of very mixed emotions….. today is the end of 12 and a half years of walking dogs that have grown some amazing friendships!!
I have never underestimated the trust you have all given me, letting me loose with your hairy heartbeats!!
I have watched relationships blossom, engagements, marriages, children come along, relationship breakdowns (including my own) and have felt the love and support through some very sad times…..
This is not the end, it’s just a change!
Thank you for all my card and gifts, I feel very blessed to have you all in my life ♥️🐾♥️
I’m officially hanging up the leads and walking 🥾 in exchange for the ✂️ and looking forward to seeing you in the groom room!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I love you all SO much ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

So there’s been a lot happening behind the scenes since the summer……
I am officially hanging up the leads at the end of the month after 12 and a half fabulous years!! It has been an honour & a privilege to have been trusted with so many beautiful crazy dogs and I cannot tell you how much I will miss them.
So many of you have been with me since the beginning and those early years, it’s not just business, it’s friendship for which I am grateful 🙏🏻

It’s not the end of my dog journey though….. as of 2nd November I will be opening Barker & Barnet Dog Grooming from Bertie's Pet Store and Grooming
I look forward to still seeing some of you in a different capacity 🐾♥️

This is my elbow (not my knee as Mr Twinkle Toes thought 🤦🏻‍♀️) yesterday morning….. I felt a sharp pain as I was nearly back to the van.

I threw my coat and hoodie off to see a white circle with a red dot in it but could not find the culprit behind it!!! The dogs were all looking at me like I was mad 🤣🤣

Thanks to The No47 Crew hoomans for hydrocortisone cream and an antihistamine I found in the van…. Still flippin ouchie this morning! Was it a 🐝? We will never know….. 🤣🤣

So today was my last day walking Rita…. This photo just sums her up! Living her best life every single day ♥️🐾♥️
She has only been with me since Feb but has had a massive impact on my heart! She has fitted in to the group so well, and the others are definitely going to miss her!
Good luck my crazy giraffe legged friend… happy new home with your Mums and I hope our paths cross again!
Thank you for my gifts, am hoping the plant lasts longer than the fizz is going to 😉

The post that no dog walker ever wants to write…..

Last week Dan & Sally lost Ollie. It has been my absolute privilege to have walked Ollie since early 2013. He was the last of my original gang and my heart hurts 💔

Ollie was rescued at around the age of 18 months but no one was really sure of his age. He was a very anxious guy who I had to walk up to sideways and look away to put his lead on because he hated eye contact so much…. He settled in so well, and became the Dad of the group. He mentored all the youngsters and was really patient with Myrtle when she literally used to throw herself on her back in front of him 🤣 I could almost see his eyes roll 🤣🤣

8 years ago he had a stroke that left him with a dodgy back leg but it didn’t stop him still charging around the fields and playing with the others….

We miss him so much but it was his time to go, with dignity

Thank you Dan & Sally for the last 11 and a half years with your gorgeous boy and for allowing me to snot all over you and say goodbye and 🙏🏻

Billy the Bear came on this mornings walk….. he had a splendid time….. but not as splendid as Moose rolling in 💩 luckily no photographic evidence or staining on said dog!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
