So mum and kittens are doing well. They look like little fuzz balls, so they might be long coat babies. Their little eyes are opening now 😍.

We are in need of more dry kitten and moist kitten food as mum is eating nonstop to her, keep her brood chubby and healthy.

So little Daisy had her scan tonight she's around 6 or 7 weeks pregnant . We maybe only have two weeks to go.

Well tomorrow little daisy has a pregnancy scan to see if she's definitely pregnant, and if she is, how many there will be.

Little Bertha is looking for a forever family she's a lovely wee pupster, dog, child, and cat friendly. She's a puppy and will remain small as an adult.

Her foster mum is due to go away to work next week, and she needs a new foster or forever home.

She would like someone who is around the house most of the day .

Urgent help needed for a service user of our food bank. We have had constant use of our food bank since we started up 8 years ago and our food reserves are running low.

The food bank helps us keep animals with their owners in time of hardship.

We have a code red situation this little 2.5 year old staffie male was booked to the put to sleep.

As he's not getting on with the families new puppy.

We are urgently looking for a foster family or a rescue who can offer him a lifeline.

He's not that good with other dogs, OK with people. Anyone who can help please PM the page.

We have had an urgent case of a heavily pregnant cat due to come in to rescue tonight. Through the night as an emergency.

The poor cat is literally about to drop.

If you have previously passed a phone interview and home check in the past 6 months, you can put your name forward for her. If you're new to the page or new to adoption, please PM the page for a form.

She's a tiny chihuahua type female puppy. Good with kids, people, cats, and dogs, uses the garden to toilet/ puppy pads.

Plus, learning to walk well on her lead.

Please have a look at our rehome protocol before applying. Home checks, like with all rescues, will be required.

Please leave a heart of any colour under her appeal to help her appeal hit the algorithm ❤️💙💜 . and let's find her a family.

So we didn't want to put a negative feel with Hollies new family story. So decided to do a second awareness post.

But we would like to address this once yet again as there seems to be some adults who spit out their dummy when we tell them they are not suitable for one of our dogs.

Some have had major b***h fits this week and we did have a little chuckle about how far people would go with lies, to help massage their bruised ego.

We are very upfront with reasons for refusal, and here are some of the ones this week.

One person claims we didn't call them,although we have call records, when we withheld our number and called we got through to a voicemail. Only to get a message on facebook saying they had requested a Friday call back, now they don't want the puppy as they were told Hollie didn't exist.

One person was refused, due to rehoming their own dog back to a rescue, then decided to ask for one of ours. It's a no, thank you.

One family during due diligence checks had their own kids overhandling dogs on their social media pictures. Again, a no.

One person left angry faces on comments to our volunteers, then went on to tell us she's applied for about 15 other dogs, slagged off all the rescues and breeders she applied to. Then, couldn't remember what dog she applied for. They had to be sent a link to the rehome appeal!!

We have had threats from people that they would try and ruin our rescue reputation due to being told no... go fill your boots. We won't be blackmailed by anyone to get a dog.

Please be aware that in rescue, the customer isn't always right. We will not put up with any harassment or abuse no matter who you are.

You rehome application fee is just that, for the application form, not for the interview, the home check or the get ready for rescue programme and it advises this on the form BEFORE you fill it in.

On a brighter note, happy new home days to the dogs who made their happy ever after this week ❤️ 😊 ###

What a great happy ever after this is for Mr Flashy pants 😆 🤣. His new family has adopted 3 animals from us now.. he's acting like he's always lived there. His big sister seems to enjoy having a new wrestle buddy 😍😍😍
