I must say whoever gets this boy has won a watch. Dog, child, and cat friendly, he loads like a dream into the car. He's house trained and floats like a big cloud on the lead outside.
Applications for Romeo are now open, although he won't be able to go for a couple of weeks as he's due to have his dangle bits removed.

Well, this big guy came out the kennels with an infected foot and smelling like a weans nappy. So after 24 hours, he also had a spa day courtesy of Farrah, our junior volunteer. It was a hard afternoons graft for her.
We took him to get a new collar too. He's such a big gentle giant.
He's good with kids, cats, and dogs and will be looking for a new family soon. Once he's been castrated and had some extra weight on his bones .
We decided to call him Romeo 😍

Ivor is looking for a forever family of his own he's around 6, and he's an active wee guy looking for a child free home. He's house and lead trained, travels well in the car, and loves his people. He could go with a more dominant male or female neutered dog.
His Daddy died at the start of the year, and he has been living with dogs since he's come into Rescue.
He would like someone to be around most part of the day as this is what he is used to.

Well, a happy bank holiday weekend post..
Our boys' vet bill came to around £1500, he's due another check-up in a week once his risk of contamination is gone.
We have ordered him some new vet bed and toys now that his puppy side is coming out to play.
He's typical of the tibetan mastiff breed, aloof with strangers, stubborn as hell, and loves his one person. He likes to patrol his run and keep the amazon delivery drivers away.
Bru is due his second vaccination, which will be in a couple of weeks. And even though he's been really unwell, we have been really strict with his routine. He's crate trained, and puppy pad trained and will use the run if the door is open. He bangs his bowls when he wants more water or food, and yes, that can be at 1 and 4am in the morning. At this stage what he wants, he wants he gets, so scooby snacks are served when required.
He's crabs your ankles, steals the puppy pads, and takes his vet bed out of the crate so you will chase him.

Miracles do happen puppies, with a body score of 1/2 and Parvo he's nothing short of a miracle to be alive.
Due to the founder of our rescue having the experience, she has with convalescing dogs and cats. He's been allowed home under strict medical instructions to see how he goes.
He's got some pretty explosive poos still going on, but he's eating tiny amounts every 2 hours.
Our vets are open all weekend, so if anything worsens, he's to right back in. The vet bills are mounting up. The puppy pads, the sanitisation equipment, specialist food, and extra blankets. Mops, bucket and blue roll are all pretty costly. But he's worth every single penny

Our little puppy from the pound has arrived and has had to have a quick bath to get the muck out of his coat.
He's severely amaciated, and I would think he's around a body score of 1.
He will go to the vet tomorrow for an emergency appointment to get weighed and health check.
