Sappho our first British Shorthair had her final litter today, she's the most chilled cat you could ever meet, when her kittens have left us she will be fixed and then we're going to have to make an emotional decision.

She's just a darling but now aged around four it's time for her to retire and have many years relaxing, we'd never want her or any of our cats to be kitten machine, she deserves her time.

Our mates health will always come first.

We would also like to let the world know we are now TICA registered along with our existing GCCF membership.

TICA is a global register, focussed on Europe and North America rather than GCCF which is mainly the UK and remains the world's oldest and highest standard register.

These kittens will be TICA or unregistered depending on their forever homes preference, don't hesitate to get in touch for a private chat.

So we currently have eight kittens, a rather full house full of love and Sappho is due this week!

We said goodbye to Maximus on Saturday morning,.

(Yellow colllar on the left, or green if you're Sarah, we've disagreed on it for weeks, what do you think?)

He was the kittens' boss, always in charge of the kittens and us, always wisely looking on like Nero in the Collosum, until sleep time, when he'd hop on our bed. We're going to miss him, but he's gone for his life of fantastic adventures with a fabulous couple, and you could instantly tell we're going to give him a perfect home, that's what matters above all else!

A big thanks to Dee Valley Vets today for our second vaccinations, vet checks and microchips, they have been absolutely fabulous as ever with the kittens.

We're so excited for the kittens, so far all but one have found their forever homes. Over the next few weeks, they will leave for a wonderful life of incredible adventures where they get at least one or two human servants each!

Instead of sharing two humans between seven!

Imagine having a human leg and a fraction of a head each and then suddenly having two whole humans available full-time at your discretion!

That is kitten nirvana.

They are going to love their new homes, and we're delighted to have found some fabulous families for them and we know all that extra attention and affection will be hugely appreciated by the kittens!

Our last two girls of 2025 have found their purrfect forever homes with the wonderful Rebecca and will be leaving us in the next couple of weeks, we're going to miss this pair of pillow magnets!

The cat carriers are open so the kittens are used to them for their second innoculations on Thursday, they seem overly keen to visit the vets again.
