Wight Vipers - Exotic Pets and Supplies Located on the Isle of Wight, we are the islands only dedicated reptile store.

We opened in 2016 and are rated 5 stars by our local authority, we are proud of the standards we uphold and constantly strive for better. We are suppliers of the main brands of high quality, specialist equipment and a diverse range of species to suit entry level keepers to the more advanced herpetologist. Many of the animals we provide come from our own breeding programs so can quite often show yo

u the actual parents of the animals you are buying. We have many years of experience, Damien worked for over 30 years in several major zoos in the UK, Ireland and Australia, with reptile keeping being a hobby for over 20 years, focussing on snakes, dartfrogs and chameleons. Kirsty has also been a hobbyist keeper for over 20 years with a keen interest in lizards and tortoises! The combined knowledge can cover many species fortunately, so, if there is a problem, we generally have you covered!

It works! Just a few tweaks with the decor and good to go. In a few months, when the plants have grown in and spread it will look fantastic 😀

Well thats that!

All done, so, I wanted to thank you all for your custom and support these last 12 months. It's been a tough one and I'm going to be honest, on a couple of occasions it did get to the point of considering if it was worth continuing. A frightening number of specialist reptile shops closed these last twelve months who just couldn't continue.
Forever expanding prices, a ridiculously high electricity tariff and of course unable to compete with Internet price have made this year extremely difficult.
We understand these pressures affect you as well so we are always grateful for your support.
I'm pretty optimistic about the coming year, we have a huge new customer base alongside our old regulars, a new energy tariff starts in March bringing costs down to a more manageable level and hopefully, a more positive outlook for us all.

So, on that note, we wish you all a fantastic New Year and good luck in whatever it brings!
