We need to just care it’s not hard to see but so many choose to turn away
We have control of so much but we don’t see
If more people used their eyes to see this would not happen time snd time again
Please open your eyes to see the world of horror and the truth
Open your eyes to see we do this as they do not have a choice
Open your eyes to look into theirs and see
No answer will come with closed eyes
So open your eyes 👀 then you will see
THIS SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN
Open your eyes and see a better picture a future where this doesn’t exist
A future that will never be filled by pain insecurity or slaughter
OPEN YOUR EYES YOUR MIND & YOUR HEART ❤️
SEE the world and change it
If we forget to see they suffer time and time again

"EVERY PICTURE TELLS A STORY"
~Jennifer here~
When I look at this photo, so many emotions come over me.
1. Happiness....... Happy that our rescue mare "Rhythm" has brought her foal safely into the world. We called him "Blues".
2. Sadness...... Sad that she was made to endure starvation, and forced to be impregnated by a stallion.
3. Thankful.....Thankful that Rhythm found her way through our gates, to be rescued by such an amazing organisation "Save A Horse Australia".
4. Anger......Angry that a human could be so vile as to harm a horse in this way.
5. Fear.......I'm scared that her body will suffer after giving every bit of nutrition she had to her growing foal inside her, that she now will struggle to get weight on while feeding her little c**t.
6. Disgust......I'm disgusted that this keeps happening all around our country, when will people stop neglecting horses?
7. Gratitude.......I'm so grateful that Racing Queensland and Queensland Off The Track are supporting every ex racehorse who comes into our sanctuary, with their grant money, making us feel safe that we can deal with the high cost of bringing these magnificent Thoroughbreds and Standardbreds back to health.
8. Grief......I grieve for this horse. She is trying to raise a baby while being so unwell herself. She doesn't understand why this has happened to her.
9. Pride......I'm so proud of this incredibly strong mare who has fought so hard to survive, knowing she had a growing baby inside her. Watching the way she protects baby Blues 24/7 is so beautiful to see.
10. Love......We simply love her, and her baby. She is forever safe under the umbrella of our charity, never to know starvation again, and will be surrounded by love for the rest of her life.
