For 2026 I wish you to find someone who loves you as much as Kevin's family loves him: unconditionally and proudly! Rarely a dog had to overcome all the challenges he had and I am truly so happy to see him thrive thanks to his utterly wonderful family. 100%.

I asked Chrissie to do a little write up for this post and this is what she had to say:

"I can't believe how Kevin's confidence has grown, he's gone from barking at every stranger to slowly learning not all humans are bad, he's even making human friends out side his family, he is a goofy a snuggle, bum who loves the snow and muddy puddles , and always up for long walks in the woods , and it seems like everyone who meets him just loves him even if he don't want to be there mate, his gentle soul around other dogs and animals is amazing, and everyone always comments on how handsome he is, he has won our hearts and we are so proud to be his family" 🥹💝

Kevin is a true warrior, a survivor and a wise teacher. Happy new year m, dearest Kevin! I am so happy for you! Love you guys

Congratulations darling Rusty for reaching your first 10 minutes of "happy alone time" 🥰 your mum has worked hard at it and I always look forward to her updates (and pictures as sweet as this one!)

One thing that really goes into successful separation training is "spread the love" - where us humans work at establishing relationships between our dog and our friends/neighbours/carers. 👫👬👭🐶💃🧑‍🤝‍🧑👯‍♀️

And so this Christmas Rusty's mum is able to go enjoy a well deserved Christmas holiday with her partner who has also been critical to Rusty's success so far! 😻

Our Christmas tips for the week are ON!

Christmas can be a stressful time for puppies AND their humans! 😱

Have you thought ahead on how you will set up your house so that your family lunch will go smoothly? Choosing a place of "calm" for the puppy is a real help . 🐶🥱

Be a human buffer! ✨️ As you are your puppy's chosen human(s), it is a good idea to act as a "buffer" between your puppy and your guests.

If your puppy or dog has ever shown signs of Resource Guarding, let me know and I can help you prepare, or give advice!

Have plenty of treats available around the house 🏠 and supervise your puppy's interactions when there is food involved: I say - find a space where your dog can chew or eat in peace. A bit like the teenager bedroom, with the big KEEP OUT! Sign on the door! 💯

Always supervise children' interaction with doggies. If your puppy is overwhelmed, don't hesitate to give him/her space - think ahead as we want your puppy to learn that children are not a source of anxiety 💝

Avoid 🔦 🔦 🔦 moving lights can be a trigger for compulsive behaviours - they often are, please avoid these.

And remember... NO CHOCOLATE (for the doggy!) 🤢

Meet ULI Dog Training

"Dogs change our lives" is a big understatement! I met my old dog Ulisse (Uli, the ginger beauty here) in Rome. He taught me all I know. Our first experience with training was unfortunate and so I set out to look for more existing points of views regarding the ways to train dogs. I started with a book, then two, then a course, then two... Then suddenly I lost count! I then started assisting @friendly_creatures and followed in their training classes and behaviour consultations. I now work for them as well as for my company: I have wonderful, inspiring colleagues and we offer classes in the London area. I moved to Hertfordshire and so i am offering classes over here too. Uli is my source of inspiration and my best teacher, and so are my mentors and my clients. Last, but unequivocally not least: so are their dogs.
