Why not spend some quality time with your horse heading round the cross country course! With the weather starting to finally look a bit like summer ☀️ and the little showers keeping the ground in perfect condition, there’s no better place to be!

The recent weather has been working its magic on the cross country course! The place to come to introduce young horses or novices riders to XC or for more established partnerships to work on perfecting your cross country jumping skills! We have a whole range of jumps for your horses and ponies to look at ranging from 25cm-90cm and even if you are only wanting to pop a few of the smaller jumps a canter along one of these stretches is just as tempting! Stick To The Track 👣
Our course is signposted all the way around and the route is obvious with the jumps in view. Please stick to the grass track and do not go down tracks with no jumps or those which are not signposted, this is purely for your own safety as we are a working farm. Please also keep off the open grass meadow fields and cropped fields even once these have been cut. We do live on site and keep an eye on visitors so anyone found to be off the track will be asked to return, keep safe and have the best ride 😁

Our jumps start at just 25cm and there are jumps of every height scattered throughout the course so there is something for everyone to just at each section along the 3 miles! Our slots are also sole use hire for 2 hours with no public footpaths access so there is no distraction during your ride and you can take it at your own pace! Beautiful Views At Westwick Hall Farm XC 🌻 Whether you want to jump all of the jumps or just come for a leisurely hack and take in the views of the farm we have something for everyone! There are long, uphill stretches perfect for a canter, jumps from as small as 25cm up to 90cm varying throughout the length of the 3 mile course. Theres a way around every single jump so they are all optional! Our 2 hour sole use slots mean that there is no pressure and no distractions to your ride, we don't have any public footpaths or bridlepaths so it is all yours! It takes about 1 hour to walk around so there is plently of time to go at a steady pace or for those that go a bit faster to have a second lap or to revisit your favourite jumps before heading back to the car park! Take a ride around our NEW Cross Country Schooling Paddock! 🐎 Bookings are now open on our website www.westwickhallfarm.com for our NEW Cross Country Schooling Paddock! The course is available for hire separately to the main course at £15 per horse/rider and we would love to host clinics too! It is set in 2 acres with 9 jumps of the following heights: 2x adjustable jumps 45cm-1m 2x 50-55cm jumps 2x60-65cm jumps 3x70-75cm jumps Important note: Unfortunately it is not currently possible to hack to this facility due to access and the course map on the website must be viewed before visiting us as there is a different access and parking for the schooling paddock. #WestwickHallXC #WestwickHallCrossCountry #CrossCountrySchooling #Training #PracticeMakesPerfect #CrossCountry #HorseRiding #CourseBuilding

NEWSFLASH! ⚡️🐴 As you may have seen we have got some new jumps ready for our enclosed XC paddock which is BRAND NEW for this year! This video shows where we will be putting in the paddock which will be available for hire separate to the main course either for private use or clinics! It has been decided that the hay will be cut this week which means we are so close to being able to open, woo!
