Wow What a morning! All horses have been checked and given a slobber mash which included electrolytes. As you can hear (turn the volume up) all horses loved their morning treat. Sun cream has been plastered on. Fly spray on. A huge thanks to all those volunteers that have come up today and brought the horses in for a well earned hose soaking. These are staff that work at the weekend but know how hard this weather is on the horses so they have come up to help out Thank you guys you are the best!!! All horses have been soaked, fed and now resting under trees.

Dillon getting his first hair cut! We had no idea if he had been clipped before so just took his beard off - he won't be needing that! Despite looking untidy, the main reason for removing it is to prevent it getting caught in his headcollar and bridle, (specifically his noseband). It makes tacking up very difficult trying to fight with all that hair! He was a ⭐️!

New Year 2019

Well - Phew - a new year is upon us and it has come around so quickly. It seems like only yesterday we were planning Christmas 2017 and New Year 2018!

So here we are, we have landed in 2019! We are happy to say - with much better weather than January 2018, at which point we had, had our fair share of snow! We hope you have all had a great start to the year.

Planning has commenced for our events and activities for 2019. They will shortly be added to our facebook events page, so watch out for them and book your place! Plenty for everyone to do and lots of fun to be had by all - humans and equines!

2018 found us saying goodbye to a few members of our herd. Some of the horses have stayed on the yard with their new owners and some have moved away to pastures new. This has left us with a few vacancies to fill and we are slowly filling them, so you will see some new faces in 2019. Lots of you have met Dillon who has already started his work on the school. Topsy has made her way onto our page and will soon be ready to meet you all and we have a lovely new working livery who has yet to be revealed! We also have a couple of youngsters who will (hopefully!) make their way onto the school in due course to keep us all entertained! Exciting times!
