Hi! I’m Jess and these are my beautiful boys Arthur and Oscar! Oscar is an 11 year old Schnauzer and Arthur is a 3 year old recuse crossbreed! If you chose to board with It’s a Dogs Life, your pets will get to spend their days having adventures with these two and (if they fancy it) snuggle up with them for a snooze too! My boys adore having friends over and Oscar even gives new dog friends a Schnauzer song welcome!
Here at It’s a Dog’s Life – St. Albans, I understand just how difficult it is to find somebody you can trust with your beloved pet. Somebody that is willing to offer unconditional love and support whilst you’re away – a playmate, a tennis ball thrower, a food distributer and an all round snuggle buddy – I appreciate how tough this decision is!
As a dog owner myself, I’ve searched the web to find a home boarder to ensure my dogs will be looked after, loved and mentally enriched and I strive to be the best in the market! This is why I started It’s a Dog’s Life – to provide quality care and love based home boarding; like many other pet businesses I have been around pets all of my life (and couldn’t have it any other way!) I also hold a Level 3 Qualification in Animal Management plus five years worth of behaviour training from Blue Cross Rescue Centres.
Within my five years of working at Blue Cross I gained a wealth of invaluable knowledge; especially surrounding dog interactions and behaviour plus managing multiple dogs confidently, kindly and safely. I was heavily involved in training dogs of all ages, some needing more specific help than others – I then progressed to rehabilitating and behaviour work with the more difficult and troubled ones.
